The effect of elastic deformations on the ferromagnetic resonance spectrum of submicron polycrystalline films of yttrium iron garnet obtained by ion-beam sputtering on silicon and gallium arsenide substrates was studied. Magnetoelastic constants of the films on both substrates were calculated using the magnitude of the frequency shift of the absorption maximum in the ferromagnetic resonance spectrum. The value of constants did not exceed 16% of the known values for bulk polycrystalline garnet. The approach to increase the efficiency of electrical frequency tuning in composite multiferroic structures based on combination of static and dynamic (caused by the piezoelectric effect) deformations was proposed.

AbstractThe ferromagnetic resonance in an array of permalloy microstrips 3000 × 500 × 30 nm in size ordered on a rectangular grid 3.5 × 6 μm in size has been investigated by magnetic resonance force microscopy. The dependences of magnetic resonance force microscopy spectra of a sample on the probe–sample distance are analyzed. The possibility of detection of a ferromagnetic resonance spectrum of a single microstrip is demonstrated.

The temperature dependence of the spin-pumping effect on the Gilbert damping in a bilayer based on epitaxial manganite film grown on neodymium galate substrate was investigated by measuring of the linewidth of the ferromagnetic resonance spectrum (FMR). Ferromagnetic resonance in thin ferromagnetic manganite La0.7Sr0.3MnO3 (LSMO) films is used to produce a spin current at the interface between a metallic and a ferromagnetic layer. Pt/LSMO/NGO, Au/LSMO/NGO and LSMO/NGO heterostrucutres were measured. An increase of the linewidth in FMR spectrum at the temperature lower liquid nitrogen temperature (77K) is observed .

We investigated granular magnetic resonance characteristics nanocomposite magnet systems (CoFeB)m-С100-m and и (CoFeB)m-(SiO2)100-m. The ferromagnetic resonance spectrum of the samples (CoFeB)m-С100-m extra observed (compared with the system (CoFeB)m-(SiO2)100-m) of the absorption line. Analysis of experimental data shows that the dominant factor in determining the characteristics of the magnetic resonance system (CoFeB)m-С100-m, synthesized by the method of ion-plasma spraying is the formation for the synthesis of nanoparticles of iron carbide and/or cobalt.
