Following China's decision to ban trash import in 2018, some countries in Southeast Asia are at the forefront of banning and imposing stringent measures to crackdown trash trade. The new trend in trash trade regulations had further impacted weaker countries and made a haven for dumping waste unless they adopt a uniform mechanism to regulate or completely ban trash trade within the region. This study aimed to analyze the recent response of some developing countries to the trash trade and how likely this response impact other countries in the same region, taking into account the impact of the trash trade on the environment and health and waste handling capacity. This study adopted doctrinal analysis that combined descriptive and analytical approaches to analyze trash trade and regulation impacts in developing countries and arrived at a need for a holistic approach and national waste management policy to encourage the recycling industry in trash receiving states. This study found that although developing countries had a perfect set of rules and norms regarding sustainable waste management and protecting illicit trash trade, most of them had shortages due to internal and external factors. Solid waste management in developing and least developed countries was a never-ending problem due to the low technological requirements and economic investments.  KEYWORDS: Trash Trade, Developing Countries, Environmental Justice.

As far as the physical diagnosis of the organs of the chest cavity is systematically (although still far from perfect) set out in various manuals for medical diagnosis and has been widely used in the daily practice of doctors, the situation is just as bad with the physical methods of studying diseases of the abdominal cavity.

We prove that every Borel probability measure over an arbitrary second-countable space vanishing at any singletons has support being a perfect set and being included in some co-countable perfect set. Thus the support of a continuous probability distribution over a second-countable space turns out to admit a richer structure.

The paper continues the investigations on the implementation of virtual networks on the SDN data plane which is modeled by a graph of physical connections between network nodes. A virtual network is defined as a set of ordered host pairs (sender, receiver), and it is implemented by a set of host-host paths that uniquely determine the switch settings. The opportunities to transmit a packet are limited by the host weights (priorities): a packet can be only transmitted from a host to a host if the sender has at most the same priority as the recipient, and thus, a set of paths is permissible if its every subset connects permissible host pairs. In the paper, it is proven that differently from the case when every host pair is permissible, in the graph with priorities a permissible path implementation does not exist for every set of permissible hosts. Moreover, it is shown that is some cases when such an implementation exists, the implementation is not possible without paths with cycles where packets can move infinite and without duplicate paths when a host can get the same packet several times. Using the notion of a perfect set of paths a criterion is established when every permissible set of hosts can be safely implemented by a set of paths without cycles but possibly with duplicate paths.

The homogeneous perfect sets introduced by Wen and Wu [Hausdorff dimension of homogeneous perfect sets, Acta. Math. Hungar. 107 (2005) 35–44] is an important class of Moran sets. In this paper, we obtain the Assouad dimension and Assouad spectrum formulas for homogeneous perfect set under suitable condition. In the proof an Assouad spectrum formula for a large class of fractal sets is established.

AbstractWe simultaneously generalize Silver’s perfect set theorem for co-analytic equivalence relations and Harrington-Marker-Shelah’s Dilworth-style perfect set theorem for Borel quasi-orders, establish the analogous theorem at the next definable cardinal, and give further generalizations under weaker definability conditions.

AbstractWe describe techniques for constructing models of size continuum inωsteps by simultaneously building a perfect set of enmeshed countable Henkin sets. Such models have perfect, asymptotically similar subsets. We survey applications involving Borel models, atomic models, two-cardinal transfers and models respecting various closure relations.

This paper proposes “Value Axiom” that states “The larger the sum of Customer Attribute values, the better the design.” A customer evaluates a design with the sum of the value produced by each Customer Attribute, expressing it with a monetary value such as Japanese yen. A designer can hardly estimate and express a perfect set of Customer Attributes at the early stage of a design. The designer writes down the design equation to visualize the entire design, and improves the sets of Design Parameters and Functional Requirements using the Independence Axiom and Information Axiom, and at the same time, it is also important to review the values of Customer Attributes using the Value Axiom.
