Research has shown cigarette smoking is a major risk factors for many type of cancer or cancer prognosis. Tobacco related health disparities were addressed continually in cancer screening, diagnosis, treatment, prevention and control. The present study evaluated the health disparities in attendance of smoking cessation counseling classes for 4,826 patients scheduled to attend between 2005 and 2007. Of 3,781 (78.4%) patients with records to calculate the distance from their home domicile to counseling sites using Geographic Information System technology, 1,435 (38%) of smokers who attended counseling had shorter travel distances to counseling sites (11.6 miles, SD = 11.29) compared to non-attendees (13.4 miles, SD = 16.72). When the travel distance was >20 miles, the estimated odds of attending decreased with greater travel distance. Smokers who actually attended were more likely to be older, female, White, living in urban areas, and receiving free healthcare. After controlling for other socio-demographic factors, shorter distances were associated with greater class attendance, and individuals more likely to attend included those that lived closer to the counseling site and in urban settings, were female, White, commercially insured, and older than their counterparts. These findings have the potential to provide important insights for reducing health disparities for cancer prevention and control, and to improve shared decision making between providers and smokers.

The purpose of this research is to know the potential area of flood-prone in Luwu Utara Regency. This study used the descriptive qualitative method. The technique of collecting data done through survey method that is the first survey is observation or observation object, and the second review is through a study ofinstitution and study ofthe document which analyzed qualitatively. The method of analysis used to obtain flood vulnerability that is data analysis using overlay technique with rock Geographic Information System technology. North Luwu Regency has four classes of potential flood-prone. As for the other factors that cause some districts in Luwu Utara District to be prone to flood is because the District has a bad drainage level (very close basin level), then other factors are the area is also passed by two watersheds.

The purpose of this study was to determine shoreline change along the coast of Ladong, Mesjid Raya subdistrict, Aceh Besar district, Aceh province in the 5 years period started from the year 2011, 2012, 2013, 2014 and 2015. Ground check was implemented in August 2016. This study utilized Geographic Information System technology (GIS), remote sensing and by utilizing Google Earth to capture aerial photo. The result from this research showed that each year the shoreline changes, either it was abrasion or accretion. In 2011-2012 the value of abrasion reached 1.1 ha and the value of accretion reached 0.5 ha. In 2012-2013 the value of abrasion reached 0.3 ha and the value of accretion reached 0.8 ha. In 2013-2014 the value of abrasion reached 1.2 ha and the value of accretion reached 0.2 ha. In 2014-2015 the value of abrasion reached 0.2 ha and the value of accretion reached 1.5 ha. The value of the annual abrasion average reached 0.56 ha and the value of the accretion was 0.58 ha. The largest abrasion happened in 2013-2014 which reached 1.2 ha. The total value of 5 year abrasion was 2.8 ha and the total value of accretion was recorded 2.9 ha. The process of abrasion and accretion also caused a change of the length of Ladong’s coastline every year, and the river estuary was one of the reasons that caused abrasion or accretion
