Abstract This paper introduces the concept of multimedia digital watermarking and summarizes the current technology status. This paper summarizes the research status and basic principle of digital watermarking. The advantages of digital watermarking algorithm based on wavelet transform are analyzed. The proposed algorithm combines Arnold scrambling method and DWT transform multi-resolution characteristics, and adopts linear and different embedding strength methods. Effectively improve the security of the watermark. According to the classification results, different intensity watermarking components are embedded into the DCT low frequency coefficients of different image blocks. Experimental results show that this algorithm has strong masking and robustness, and the watermarking realized by using the proposed algorithm has good robustness against common image processing and noise interference.

Abstract In order to improve the complexity of chaotic mapping and the security of image encryption algorithms, this paper proposes a new coupled three-dimensional chaotic system based on sine mapping and lorenz mapping. Based on this chaotic system, a new color image encryption algorithm is proposed, which performs index position scrambling and Arnold scrambling on the bit plane of the plaintext image, and then performs an XOR diffusion operation on the scrambled ciphertext to obtain the final ciphertext image. Simulation experiments show that the algorithm has a large key space, a small image correlation coefficient, an information entropy value of 7.9921, and a good encryption effect.

Sharing of digital media over internet is becoming easier due to content authentication and security provided by digital watermarking. It also locates application in other fields like copyright protection, tele-medicine, military, tamper detection, and many more. This paper represents the robust watermarking approach using Paillier homomorphic cryptosystem with Arnold transformation. In this, the watermarking system is primarily prepared at an encrypted DWT-DCT domain. Cryptosystem is exploited at this time to encrypt the original media. For more security of multimedia content, the watermark image is scrambled through Arnold scrambling technique. The embedding process is done here to produce the encrypted watermark image followed by the encryption process. At recovery phase, decryption of encrypted watermark image to get the original and watermark image is done. The experimental result has shown that watermarking method is more robust and offers the security of digital media.

In order to deal with the problem of encryption algorithms being overly simplistic, and the relatively low security of color images that creates potential to be attacked in the transmission process, this paper will introduce a new encryption algorithm that is designed to divide color images into R, G and B layers. In the scrambling operation: the first scrambling is aimed to block the clear text image scrambling; The second scrambling is the dynamic Arnold scrambling of the ciphertext after the first scrambling. In the diffusion operation, the scrambled ciphertext image was taken as the input, and the pseudo-random sequence generated by Tent mapping and Sine mapping was embedded. The sequence generated by Logistic mapping was used to select sub-blocks for block diffusion of the image. Tent-Sine mapping was applied to the second diffusion to obtain the final ciphertext image. The algorithm designed in this paper combines image block scrambling and dynamic Arnold scrambling, the scrambling degree of each layer of image pixels would be greatly improved, thus improving the security of color images. In the process of diffusion, chaos sequence is selected for diffusion operation, which increases the difficulty of decoding ciphertext. The simulation results show that the new algorithm has desirable encryption effect, strong key sensitivity and large key space, and complex encryption algorithm can effectively resist attacks, which certainly has value in image information security.

Application of fragile watermarking on biometric images stored at a server or cloud ensures proper authentication and tamper detection when access to the servers was shared. In this paper, a hybrid domain fragile watermarking technique for authenticity of color biometric images, using hybridization of various transforms such as discrete cosine transform (DCT), fast discrete curvelet transform (FDCuT), and singular value decomposition (SVD) is proposed. The hybrid transform coefficients are modified according to the scrambled color watermark to obtain watermarked color biometric image. The security of this technique is strengthened with the usage of Arnold scrambling, and by using multiple secret keys. The proposed technique is analyzed on FEI Brazilian face database. The experimental results show that this technique performs better than the existing fragile watermarking techniques.
