Bamboo can be used to make all building components, both structural and non-structural. The construction of this bamboo building is characterized by a structural framework approach similar to that applied in wooden construction. In this case, the floor, wall and roof elements are interconnected and interdependent on each other for overall stability. There is a need to control lateral deformation in some traditional forms of buildings in particular. The adequacy and suitability of the building for housing will also depend on good details. In the use of bamboo as a structural element, various types of connections are known which are often applied in various types of buildings. The types of connections are double butt bent joints, friction-tight rope connections, plug ins, positive fitting connections, and interlocking connections. These types of joints are not very strong and cannot withstand excessive loads in various directions because the surface area of the connection is very small and bamboo has cavities. This connection will not last long if it is used as a connection to the truss or bridge truss. This connection is not very strong. In the Cipete Village area, Pinang District, Tangerang City, there are still many buildings that use bamboo as a structural element, both for housing, selling places, and huts for resting. The bamboo connections in these buildings still use traditional grafting techniques, so the buildings quickly become damaged and the community pays more to repair them. The Community Service Team (PKM) of the Civil Engineering Undergraduate Study Program helps the community provide bamboo splicing technology to increase the service life of bamboo buildings by improving bamboo grafting techniques. The splicing technique is done by expanding the surface of the connection, namely making the bamboo solid in the bamboo area. In addition to making the bamboo solid in the joint area, gusset plates and bolts are also used to strengthen the connection.

Introduction: The purpose of this study was to compare the results of arthroscopically assisted reduction of acute acromioclavicular (AC) joint separations with the Tight-Rope technique with results of clavicular hook plate fixation. Materials and Methods: The 28 patients with acute high-grade AC joint dislocation were treated with arthroscopic assisted fixation using the Tight-Rope system, the arthroscopic evaluation and treatment of glenohumeral lesions were performed before AC ligament reconstruction. Each Tight-Rope technique group patient was matched with three controls that underwent clavicular hook plate fixation, and preoperation and postoperative visual analogue scale (VAS) and functional recovery (Constant Score) of the shoulder joint was assessed,. Furthermore, the demographics and clinical characteristics were compared between the two groups. Results: All patients had clinical and radiological results available at 2 years or greater (mean: 34; range: 24–72 months), they were statistically significant improvement in the constant score and VAS score at the end of follow-up respectively ( P < 0.001). Compared with the clavicular hook plate group, Tight-Rope system group patients were incurred significant statistically lower skin incision, hospitalization time and estimated blood loss ( P < 0.001), and the constant score and VAS score at the end of follow-up was significantly higher in the Tight-Rope group ( P < 0.001). Patients who underwent clavicular hook plate had a higher incidence of fixation failure [10 cases (11.9%) versus 2 cases (7.1%)] than those of the Tight-Rope system group. Conclusions: The Tight-Rope technique is advantageous for treating these patients because it is a minimally invasive procedure with low complications and superior clinical outcomes.

BACKGROUND Healthcare is changing rapidly, and consumer focus has become a priority for most organizations. In fact, found that 81% have identified “improving consumer experience” as a high priority for their organization. But only 11% of healthcare executives feel that their organization has the capabilities to deliver positive consumer experience. It’s important to understand that social media has the potential to be both enhancing and damaging, during or after a crisis. There will be numerous rumours and misinformation spreading during a crisis, creating panic among the public, with the aim of making the information ‘go viral.’ Population education or empowerment is important to ensure that the general population doesn’t fall victim to such rumours. Healthcare organisations have a duty to prevent damage in this way, by creating awareness. People should be educated to distinguish between trustworthy and misleading information. For example, we published an article on how misleading information on anorexia is promoted on YouTube, stating that “the illiterate in this ICT era will not be those who cannot read and write, but those who cannot distinguish between trustworthy and misleading information available online” (Syed-Abdul et al. 2013). According to the World Bank forecast COVID19 economic consequences have been estimated as the deepest recession since the Second World War. To date COVID19 has claimed 1.4 million lives, leaving millions in varying levels of morbidity and emerges as a bigger problem in the high income than in the low middle income countries. The only hope to put a stop to this monster and go back to the normal is the man's old friend, the vaccines. Extraordinary circumstances require extraordinary measures and we have seen that the development of vaccines which was usually thought as a years of business is being prepared and ready to be rolled out under ten months of concentric efforts. A certain percentage of adverse effects are expected from any medication and the same is true for vaccines. However even within the expected numbers of any untoward effects from vaccines, the same are highlighted and become under media limelight for no scientific reason. In this regard manageing mthe mass media is imperative. In the recent history of infections and vaccines, the world has seen both causal and spurious adverse relationships claimed to be associated with vaccines. Whatever the truth was, news of vaccines causing adverse reactions can not only affect the uptake of the very vaccine itself, but can also avert people to go for other routine vaccinations. In the low and middle income countries of the world this could prove as an impending community health disaster. In a country like the UK the Wakefield reports caused decline in the vaccine uptake and a surge in the infections, so what worse we can be expected in other parts of the world. Considering the tight rope of a newly developed vaccine administration in the first stage, ‘the first few thousands’ in the population would be a make or break situation, specially in the low middle income countries where rumors spread faster than anything. In the second stage, targeting a bigger population for vaccine delivery, diligent planning at both macro and micro levels would be required to avoid problems related to vaccine storage, safe delivery, administration and follow up of the vaccine receivers. This pandemic provided us with an opportunity to uncover our potential in a time constraint Global health crisis. The precious achievements of scientists and vaccine manufacturers in this regard must be capitalized upon and be secured from mishaps and mismanagement. Continuous...
