And VR industry, as an emerging industrial economy, can effectively empower the development of tobacco industry. To further promote the development of VR and tobacco industry clusters and optimize the industrial structure, this paper constructs a conceptual model of the factors influencing the innovation performance of VR and tobacco industry clusters from a social network perspective based on the triple helix theory. Structural equation method and data of relevant companies of VR and tobacco industry in Nanchang is used to study the influencing factors of their innovation performance, and further examines the influence mechanism of R&D investment, government behavior and cluster atmosphere on innovation performance of these two industrial clusters. The results show that R&D investment, government behavior and cluster atmosphere have positive effects on innovation performance of Nanchang VR and tobacco industry cluster. The conclusions of this paper enrich the influencing factors of cluster innovation performance and expand the scope of innovation performance theory in the context of VR and tobacco industrial cluster.

This article explores an examination of industry clusters from a systems perspective. We analyze Russia’s pharmaceutical clusters and India’s automobile clusters in terms of the systems concepts of holism, emergence, and open systems. We further consider the aspects of human capital investment and the availability of professional labor, infrastructure, private–public sector collaboration, support for funding and commercialization, as well as innovation corporate culture, when examining the institutional pillars supporting the development and growth of industry clusters within the national innovation ecosystems. The findings illustrate how industry clusters can be viewed from a systems perspective. We also highlight how the institutional pillars underpinning national innovation ecosystems can be applied to an industry cluster level, particularly in emerging countries. The article provides implications for theory and practice in the application of a systems perspective as a way to foster industry cluster innovation and promote a more effective national innovation ecosystem.

Nowadays, the deepening globalization of the world economy promotes the economic development to present more and more obvious regionalization characteristics, and industrial clusters are increasingly becoming an important source for a country or region to achieve competitive advantages. China is the largest tobacco country in the world, and the tobacco industry is the largest source of tax revenue in China, which has made outstanding contributions to the national financial accumulation. After joining the World Trade Organization (WTO) and signing the Framework Convention on Tobacco Con trol (FCTC) o f the World Health Organization (WHO), the competition in the domestic and foreign tobacco markets has become increasingly fierce, and more attention to health issues has put forward higher requirements for the development of China's tobacco industry. Therefore, the Chinese tobacco industry urgently needs to use industrial clusters to form economies of scale and enhance market competitiveness. Overall, the development level of China's tobacco industry is not high. Due to some existing problems that restrict the development of tobacco industry clusters, some measures must be taken to enhance the competitiveness of China's tobacco industry clusters in the world economy, such as strengthening o verall coordination and planning guidance , guiding industries from agglomeration to cluster development, actively supporting related industries, and vigorously enhancing innovation ability. Therefore, it is necessary to find out the breakthrough point of the development of tobacco industry clusters, select the appropriate industrial clusters to focus on cultivating, strengthening the leading role, supplementing the chain and clustering, and guide and promote the healthy growth of tobacco industry clusters, so as to stimulate the growth of the national economy.

Tourism provides many advantages for Sweden and the whole world, as well as its travelers. Since almost all types of tourism are currently in crisis as a result of the current COVID-19 pandemic, information and communication technology is expected to play a role, not only during the crisis but also in the post-COVID-19 era. Thus, with no expectations from types of tourism, Sweden needs to broaden its digital tours. As a result, this letter aims to classify the transition readiness of industry clusters for this digitalization move. An extended version of the TOPSIS technique was formulated and validated, plus a new framework for measuring digitalization readiness for this purpose. Lastly, analysis of the collected data proves that business tourism could lead the change, though adventure and rural tourism are at the farthest point from being considered ready to change.

This article analyzed the ten strategic pillar industry clusters and the ten strategic emerging industry clusters which were confirmed and announced by Guangdong Province in May 2020 in addition to the 14 professional groups of schools in Guangdong Province which were shortlisted in the “Double High Plan.” With comparison and analysis, the degree of coincidence between the professional groups of higher vocational colleges and strategic industrial clusters in Guangdong Province which covered most of the industrial clusters was relatively high. The higher vocational colleges that were shortlisted in the “Double High Plan” still required dynamic adjustments in the construction of professional groups to achieve an all-rounded integration of the supply of talents and industrial demands.
