Asosiasi Gundukan Tanah, Sungai, dan Menhir di Pusat Wilayah Adat Tanah Sekudung, Baratlaut Lembah Kerinci, Dataran Tinggi Jambi (Kajian Fenomenologi)

This article discusses about the associations of menhirs with landscape features(river and mounds) in Northwestern of Kerinci Valley. Customarily, this region is called as Tanah Sekudung with its centre in three villages (dusuns) that is Dusun Siulak Gedang, Siulak Panjang dan Siulak Mukai. This research uses phenomenology approach by Tilley. Phenomenological approach stresses the experience and bodily sensory of observer/researcher. The experience is obtained through observation participant method. In this method, the experience and interaction between observer and menhir be a part which is described.As results in this research, it is known that menhirs erection on the mounds or higherlands and its distribution which similarly with direction of the main river flow related with the legend of ancestors, cognitive space, cosmology and metaphora in Tanah Sekudung community. For example, river is refered to determinate of direction traditionally and also was became reference the migration of ancestors in the past.Therefore, menhirs as markers of migration paths, shape distribution similarly with directionof river flow.Artikel ini membahas asosiasi menhir dengan fitur lanskap (sungai dan gundukan tanah) di bagian barat laut Lembah Kerinci. Secara adat, wilayah ini disebut pula sebagai Tanah Sekudung, dengan pusatnya berada di tiga dusun, yaitu Dusun Siulak Gedang, Siulak Panjang, dan Siulak Mukai. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan fenomenologi yang dikemukakan oleh Tilley. Pendekatan fenomenologi menekankan pengalaman dan indra tubuh (bodily sensory) dari pengamat atau peneliti di lapangan. Pengalaman tersebut diperoleh dari pengumpulan data melalui metode observasi partisipan. Dalam hal ini, pengalaman dan interaksi antara peneliti dan menhir menjadi bagian yang akan dideskripsikan. Sebagai hasil penelitian, diketahui bahwa pendirian menhir di atas gundukan tanah dan distribusinya yang searah dengan arah aliran sungai utama terkait dengan legenda para leluhur, ruang kognitif, kosmologi, dan metafora yang dimiliki penduduk. Sebagai contoh, sungai yang dijadikan acuan dalam penentuan arah secara tradisional sekaligus dijadikan sebagai acuan perpindahan leluhur pada masa lalu. Oleh karena itu, menhir yang menjadi penanda lintasan migrasi leluhur membentuk arah distribusi yang sama dengan arah aliran sungai.

Kajian Implementasi Program Penilaian dan Penyusutan Arsip: Studi Kasus Records Center Fakultas Pertanian Universitas Gadjah Mada

This paper was developed from final report that titled Evaluation of Appraisal and Disposal Records in Faculty of Agriculture Universitas Gadjah Mada. The appraisal and disposal of the records in Agriculture Faculty had not been conducted regularly because of the under qualified skills of records manager and the lack of facilities in archival activities. The research was conducted by observation-participant method, interview, and literature study. The results of the study provide suggestions that management of records in Agriculture Faculty of Universitas Gadjah Mada should had a workflow and must be and socialized to each unit to facilitate the final process in records management that was appraisal and disposal of the records. In addition, the authors suggested that the proposed addition of archivists who can strengthen the implementation of records management and supported by adequate facilities for both records and archivists.Makalah ini merupakan pengembangan dari laporan tugas akhir berjudul Evaluasi Terhadap Program Penilaian dan Penyusutan Arsip di Fakultas Pertanian Universitas Gadjah Mada. Program penilaian dan penyusutan arsip merupakan salah satu wujud kebijakan dalam manajemen kearsipan. Penilaian dan penyusutan arsip di Fakultas Pertanian belum dilaksanakan secara berkala karena terkendala oleh jumlah arsiparis, kemampuan arsiparis, dan minimnya fasilitas yang ada dalam pelaksanaan kegiatan kearsipan. Penelitian dilaksanakan dengan metode observasi-partisipatif, wawancara, dan studi pustaka. Hasil penelitian memberikan saran jika pengelolaan arsip di lingkungan Fakultas Pertanian Universitas Gadjah Mada harus memiliki alur yang jelas dan disosialisasikan kepada setiap unit kerja untuk memudahkan proses akhir dalam manajemen kearsipan yaitu penilaian dan penyusutan. Selain itu, penulis menyarankan agar diusulkan penambahan tenaga arsiparis yang dapat memperkuat pelaksanaan pengelolaan arsip serta ditunjang dengan fasilitas yang memadai baik untuk arsip maupun arsiparis.

La Integración de los Estudiantes Inmigrantes en un Programa de Deporte Escolar con Fines de Transformación Social

The aim of this study is to analyze the integration of immigrant students who participate in the School Sports Program from Segovia, Spain (PIDEMSG). A multiple case study, focused from an ethnographical perspective has been developed, with 11 groups of school sport (118 children in total) in three different categories (7-8, 9-10 and 11-12 years) with a specific focus on 68 immigrant students. Individual and group interviews were conducted, as well as 6 months of observation through the "observer as participant" method. In order to analyze the results, a content analysis has been developed, applying an analytical categories system. The results show that PIDEMSG favors the integration and social inclusion of immigrant students, as well as intercultural communication and the development of educational values, due to their pedagogical approach. The relationship between immigrant students sometimes appears to have a framework of common codes and the recognition of a shared identity, even though they do not all have the same nationality. The experience of the monitors in groups with cultural diversity seems to be a fundamental factor in the achievement of better levels of integration and inclusion of immigrant students.
