This article gives an idea of the extension of the sentence form and the degree of valency of the verb. At the same time, the derivation that requires the syntactic form of the sentence is based on the applicative model, the applicative method is illuminated by the introduction of new morphological elements into the composition of the previous derivative at each stage of derivation. In addition, the article provides information about the types of valence theory, as well as about actants and circonstants.

In ideological and political education in colleges and universities, ideological and political theory courses are the main channel of ideological and political education, and the key to running ideological and political theory courses lies in teachers. The establishment and improvement of the assessment and evaluation mechanism of ideological and political course teachers will effectively improve the curriculum effect of ideological and political theory courses. However, while the construction of the assessment and evaluation mechanism for ideological and political teachers in colleges and universities in China has achieved certain results, there are still some unsolved problems, such as the lack of an assessment and assessment that matches the characteristics of ideological and political teachers. Standards and ideological and political course teacher assessment and evaluation mechanisms have guiding deviations. This article uses fairness theory and expected valence theory to analyze and explore the reasons for problems in the assessment and evaluation mechanism of ideological and political teachers in colleges, and put forward constructive suggestions on how to establish and improve the assessment and evaluation mechanism of ideological and political teachers in colleges.

Purpose The purpose of this paper is to explore the facilitating and inhibitory factors on paid app downloading intentions based on an integrated valence theory, considering two social environmental factors and two intermediate variables: perceived value and perceived trust. Design/methodology/approach This study is based on the integrated valence theory. After collecting users’ data, partial least square analysis is used to examine the main driving and constraining factors for users to download paid apps in Apple mobile devices. Findings The empirical results show that mediated through perceived value, perceived usefulness and perceived compatibility are the absolute positive factors that affect user’s willingness to purchase apps, whereas perceived cost is the main barrier for users to do so. Social environment where the users are in also plays an important role in their purchase intentions. Practical implications This study hopes to offer guidance to paid app developers and general app markets, and to help expand the consumer group, make the purchase experience more efficient and promote the development of paid app market. Originality/value The finding not only enriches the adoption theory of mobile apps from the perspective of valence theory, but also provides pricing and functional suggestions for platform suppliers and software developers of paid apps.

The paper is a part of an ongoing discussion on various topics of historical Slavic accentology with Frederik Kortlandt. The topics discussed in the paper are: the reflex of the Proto-Slavic short neo-acute in Kajkavian; the reflex of pretonic and posttonic length in West and South Slavic; the reconstruction of the ending *-ъ in Slavic genitive plural, its accentuation, and the ending -ā in Štokavian and Slovene; the lengthening of the bȏg ‘god’ and kȍkōt ‘rooster’ type in Western South Slavic; the *obőrna ‘defense’ and *čьrnĩna ‘blackness’ type accent and retractions of contractional neo-circumflexes; the reflex of Slavic *ò in Slovak and Czech monosyllables; and the valence theory and Proto-Indo-European origin of Balto-Slavic accentuation.
