This paper examines implementation of study assessments in school with a double track program in East Java Indonesia. The method of study of libraries is the method used for this research to develop both theoretical and practical benefits for evaluating both learning and double-track programs. The findings show that the implementation of a study evaluation of schools with a double-track program working on goals. Students may obtain a certificate through partners in schools, just as schools may work with e-bizz for TIK, Airlangga Broadcasting for video making skills, SMET for mandarin skills, etc. A double track evaluation of results can be an alternative to solving the problem of the labor shortage and the amount of unemployment that results from lack of employment.

Abstract This article develops a comparative analysis of specialised courts in intellectual property across both Japan and the US. This article considers the IPHC through the lens of the CAFC to investigate the differing institutional impact and illuminate the most pressing issues in Japanese patent law that have emerged as a result of transplanting this specialised court. Rather than a more conventional analysis of the implementation of these institutions, this article focuses instead on a comparative investigation of the soft law elements that have significantly influenced their effectiveness, providing a different insight on the relationship between these institutions and their broader contextual impact. The main findings of the comparative analysis are found in two primary areas – the impact of specialised courts on the consistency and reliability of patent law; and secondly, recommendations regarding the potential reform of Japanese patent law as it relates to the role of the IPHC. In terms of reform, this article analyzes the double-track problem in Japanese patent law and the key role that, with some modification to the court/patent office relationship, the IPHC could play in addressing this issue with a more fundamental realignment of patent law with its Continental history.

In a global competitive environment, technical changes are rapid, volatile and very complex. Nowadays, technology is labelled as a weapon towards organization for performance and productivity, which made absorptive capacity (ACAP) an important aspect. Absorptive capacity refers to an organization’s ability to recognize, capture, assimilate, transform and exploit the new technology within the organization. In order, to allow technology transfer to be successful, the organization is required to have a strong ACAP. However, a previous study has outlined that the level of ACAP in the construction industry is relatively low and this has made the technology transfer process in the industry very challenging. Thus, this research aims to explore the ACAP level and technology transfer activities in a construction project. The objectives of this paper are to identify the factors that enhance ACAP in the technology transfer process, to measure the level of ACAP in the technology transfer process and to identify a suitable suggestion in order to improve ACAP in the technology transfer process. 35 contractors from the electric double track (ETS) project, in Segamat have been involved, with a 35% of respond rate. The contractors from the ETS project have been chosen as the project is known as a mega project and has involved various foreign technology and experts, which allow technology transfer to happen actively. Questionnaires are used as the research instrument and descriptive data analysis is conducted using the Statistical Package for the Social Sciences (SPSS) version 25. The findings show that the organizational factors contribute a significant influence towards ACAP in the technology transfer process. The ACAP level that is experienced by the respondents contribute towards good work performance, while the communication and skills aspect are to increase the level of ACAP in the technology transfer process. Based on the findings of this study, the organizations, contractors, academics, and others need to alert and view one of these issue as an important problem and to establish further cooperation in maintaining the level of absorptive capacity of new technology in the process of technology transfer in order to achieve optimal levels over  a period of time.

Abstract Quantifying the train-induced wind affecting the climate of subway stations can be applied to improve underground networks air quality. In this paper, numerical simulations of train-induced airflow in a subway station are performed, using a CFD model with dynamic meshing techniques. A preliminary study is done in a double-track tunnel with blockage ratios of 0.30, 0.37 and 0.46 with a train running at constant speed in the order of 10 m/s. The tunnel length necessary to obtain a stable flow around the train body is determined, and this upstream tunnel length is included in a subway station model. Two different architectures and three train speeds are simulated, and the effect of these configurations on the station airflow is evaluated through the air velocity and the mass flow rate at a location on the platform. The results evidence an increase in air circulation with blockage ratio and train speed.
