It is a familiar fact that interval analysis provides tools to deal with data uncertainty. In general, interval analysis is typically used to deal with the models whose data are composed of inaccuracies that may occur from certain kinds of measurements. In interval analysis, both the inclusion relation ⊆ and pseudo order relation ≤p are two different concepts. In this article, by using pseudo order relation, we introduce the new class of nonconvex functions known as LR-p-convex interval-valued functions (LR-p-convex-IVFs). With the help of this relation, we establish a strong relationship between LR-p-convex-IVFs and Hermite-Hadamard type inequalities (HH-type inequalities) via Katugampola fractional integral operator. Moreover, we have shown that our results include a wide class of new and known inequalities for LR-p-convex-IVFs and their variant forms as special cases. Useful examples that demonstrate the applicability of the theory proposed in this study are given. The concepts and techniques of this paper may be a starting point for further research in this area.

This article is organized as follows: First, definitions, theorems, and other relevant information required to obtain the main results of the article are presented. Second, a new version of the Hermite–Hadamard inequality is proved for the F-convex function class using a fractional integral operator introduced by Katugampola. Finally, new fractional Hermite–Hadamard-type inequalities are given with the help of F-convexity.

The aim of this paper is to establish the Hermite-Hadamard-Fejér type inequalities for co-ordinated harmonically convex functions via Katugampola fractional integral. We provide Hermite-Hadamard-Fejér inequalities for harmonically convex functions via Katugampola fractional integral in one dimension.

AbstractA generalization of the Hermite–Hadamard (HH) inequality for a positive convex stochastic process, by means of a newly proposed fractional integral operator, is hereby established. Results involving the Riemann– Liouville, Hadamard, Erdélyi–Kober, Katugampola, Weyl and Liouville fractional integrals are deduced as particular cases of our main result. In addition, we also apply some known HH results to obtain some estimates for the expectations of integrals of convex and p-convex stochastic processes. As a side note, we also pointed out a mistake in the main result of the paper [Hermite–Hadamard type inequalities, convex stochastic processes and Katugampola fractional integral, Revista Integración, temas de matemáticas 36 (2018), no. 2, 133–149]. We anticipate that the idea employed herein will inspire further research in this direction.

AbstractIt is always attractive and motivating to acquire the generalizations of known results. In this article, we introduce a new class $\mathfrak{C(h)}$ C ( h ) of functions which can be represented in a form of integral transforms involving general kernel with σ-finite measure. We obtain some new Pólya–Szegö and Čebyšev type inequalities as generalizations to the previously proved ones for different fractional integrals including fractional integral of a function with respect to another function capturing Riemann–Liouville integrals, Hadamard fractional integrals, Katugampola fractional integral operators, and conformable fractional integrals. This new idea shall motivate the researchers to prove the results over a measure space with general kernels instead of special kernels.

Abstract The present work investigates the applicability and effectiveness of generalized proportional fractional integral ($\mathcal{GPFI}$ GPFI ) operator in another sense. We aim to derive novel weighted generalizations involving a family of positive functions n ($n\in \mathbb{N}$ n ∈ N ) for this recently proposed operator. As applications of this operator, we can generate notable outcomes for Riemann–Liouville ($\mathcal{RL}$ RL ) fractional, generalized $\mathcal{RL}$ RL -fractional operator, conformable fractional operator, Katugampola fractional integral operator, and Hadamard fractional integral operator by changing the domain. The proposed strategy is vivid, explicit, and it can be used to derive new solutions for various fractional differential equations applied in mathematical physics. Certain remarkable consequences of the main theorems are also figured.
