The article presents an analysis of the implementation of a systematic approach to the design of CM at the enterprise of the military-industrial complex without experience in the development of civilian products using requirements engineering. The advantages of architectural and modular principles in the design are described and how these principles are integrated into a single system of design documentation is shown. The processes occurring during the geodetic excavation of underground excavations are characterized by the interaction of the elements of the geokhod with each other and with the geo-environment. The interaction process can be investigated in mathematical modeling, solving the problems of justifying the parameters of the drives and interacting forces, ensuring sufficient strength of the machine elements and the bearing capacity of the contour array. The proposed block-modular principles of constructing a mathematical model allow solving particular problems of the system and its individual elements. From the solution of particular problems, it is now necessary to proceed to the solution of the generalized model, using equivalent loads and reduced total moments (forces). The construction of a generalized model requires a number of assumptions, but its solution will reveal the interaction between the elements of the geokhod and the geo-environment, which is very relevant.As an example, the solution of a particular problem is given-the determination of the value of the forces arising from the interaction of the blade of an external engine with the medium.A list of assumptions is formulated that allow us to describe a general mathematical model of the interaction between the geo-environment and the geokhod, as well as the processes occurring during geodetic excavation of mine workings.

Behavioral economics has become an important and integrated component of modern economics. Behavioral economists embrace the core principles of economics—optimization and equilibrium—and seek to develop and extend those ideas to make them more empirically accurate. Behavioral models assume that economic actors try to pick the best feasible option and those actors sometimes make mistakes. Behavioral ideas should be incorporated throughout the first-year undergraduate course. Instructors should also considering allocating a lecture (or more) to a focused discussion of behavioral concepts. We describe our approach to such a lecture, highlighting six modular principles and empirical examples that support them.

This paper investigates the relationship between variability and lexicality on the one hand and sound change on the other within the theory of Lexical Phonology. The former leads to the proposal of the Optionality Constraint (OC), which prohibits the application of optional rules in the lexical module. The constraint is found to be violated at the word level. The violation of OC as well as of other lexical modular principles is accounted for by the help of a new licensing principle, called the Polarity Principle. This allows for interacting modules to have different properties of representation and rule application at their opposite ends. The OC leads to a resolution of the Neogrammarian Controversy, that is consonant with the standard assumption concerning sound change, namely, the inherent relation between the latter and variability.
