Abstract In recent years piezoelectric nanogenerators, due to their more durability in high dust or humidity are more attractive than triboelectric ones. So, increasing their outputs is the subject of much researches. I focused on electrodes of the acoustic nanofibers nanogenerators for the first time. Here, I introduced a new electrode that is cheaper and does not result in lower outputs. Here for the first time graphene spin-coated ink was used for polyacrylonitrile-based acoustic nanogenerator. The results of the tests compared with the in-situ synthesis of nickel nanoparticles on the layer and using graphene spin-coated screen ink and conductive tapes. Finally, producing sound by this graphene ink was done too.

Purpose This paper aims to propose a simple, effective and environmentally benign method for the synthesis of commercially important pigment copper phthalocyanine (PC) blue has been developed using deep eutectic solvent (DES). Design/methodology/approach DES prepared from choline chloride and urea is used as a reaction medium, as well as a source of ammonia. The design of the experiment and factorial design study has proved that the milder reaction conditions with high yields and reusability of DES are the key features of the present study. Findings The synthesized pigment is obtained at milder reaction conditions with excellent yield, which can be seen from the design of experiments done for the optimization of results. Practical implications The synthesized pigment was used as a colorant in epoxy-based paint and in screen ink, which gave satisfactory results with respect to color values and stability. Social implications The screen ink prepared was formulated considering environmental aspects to avoid the use of solvents. Biodegradable components were added to the colorant to make the ink environment friendly. Originality/value Reactions occur at moderate temperatures without affecting the time factor, thus, it saves energy. A simple, effective and environmentally benign method for the synthesis of commercially important copper PC has been developed using DES. After the first batch, DES synthesized can be reused as a reaction medium where only a stoichiometric amount of urea is to be added. Simple work up, high yield and purity are achieved.

At this event in 2009, the authors discussed the need for advanced tooling and materials for printed electronics device development and manufacturing. We went on to describe and evaluate a novel toolset called PulseForge® which is based on photonic curing and capable of drying and sintering metallic-based inks on low-temperature substrates in milliseconds. Example inks manufactured by NovaCentrix used in the initial evaluation were silver and copper-based inkjet inks, with nanoparticles as the functional material. These inks were only 100's of nm thick when printed and dried. As part of on-going work, the authors are now presenting the same toolset applied to thicker screen print inks of silver and copper. A PulseForge 3100 in 12-inch width configuration is used to process improved silver screen ink on PET, and a new copper-based screen ink on copy paper. The tools produce equal or improved results over oven processing. Additionally, we demonstrate the PulseForge tools can process material at speeds consistent with volume manufacturing.
