A unique lead seal-matrix with majuscule legend: LUCIANI PRESBITERI belonging to a priest was found by the Romanesque castle church in Giebło. The name of its owner is mentioned in written sources from the years 1325–1327 as plebanus ecclesie de Kebel. As PRESBITER he probably didn’t enjoy all privileges that the collator usually bestows on a parish priest on his property. Possibly for that reason he had his matrix made in an easy-to-process material, infrequently used for such objects in this part of Europe. The use of this raw material suggests someone who tried avoid the high costs of making the item. Special attention is merited by the composition of a fleur-de-lis crowned with the cross engraved on the seal face that resembles a heraldic device. The repetition of a schematic lily flower on the reverse of the matrix shows the special importance of this sign (identified in medieval time with the Blessed Virgin Mary); this symbol was treated in this way by, for example, Cistercians. By presenting his name in the company of these symbols, Lucianus gave his seal strength and credibility.

During fabrication process, material deformations are likely to occur due to various factors such as heat during steel cutting, welding induced deformations, lifting and turning of ship sections, temporary stiffening and other possible modifications of ship sections. Lifting induced deformations is one of the major causes of deformations that highly affect the production cost and quality. The aim of this thesis is to outline the main causes of deformations that occur in ship sections during fabrication and to analyse in detail the lifting and turning operations of one ship section using the Finite Element Method (FEM). A strength check using the FEM has been performed on the selected ship section to investigate the deformations and stresses in two different cases with three different loading conditions. First, the section has been analysed without temporary stiffening in three load scenarios: lifting before turning, worst-case scenario during turning and lifting after turning. Similarly, the second case study has been analysed but with the temporary stiffening added according to the lifting plan. Various influencing parameters that determine the lifting plan has been investigated such as the sling angle which directly affects the deformation characteristics. It is observed that the addition of temporary stiffening is essential to minimize the deformations and to maintain the stress levels below the yield point.

Children using environmentally unfriendly furniture are more likely to suffer from allergic rhinitis, respiratory infections, and leukemia. The green design of children’s furniture must consider anti-formaldehyde, deodorant, antibacterial, and antiviral factors. This paper prepares a zinc oxide (ZnO) nanomaterial for children’s furniture, and researches and develops the antibacterial property of the nanomaterial. The main contents include the synthesis method and preparation process, material morphology and structure characterization, and antibacterial performance testing. The practical substrate modification of the material was realized by pre-depositing polydopamine particles. In this way, the ZnO nanomaterial could apply to a wider range of children’s furniture, become more durable, and realize efficient multi-mechanism synergistic sterilization. Experimental results show that the prepared material has a good antibacterial property.

Objectives: To present the survey questionnaire used for the medical assessment of patients requiring alveolar ridge reconstruction as well as the study of concomitant pathologies and their influence on the healing process. Material and methods: The study involved 173 patients aged between 18 and 69 years. All patients have been assessed according to the survey questionnaire developed to determine the patient’s general condition, life anamnesis, and medical history. Results: Out of the total of 173 patients, 72 (41.6%) had no concomitant pathologies, 8 patients (4.6%) had concomitant pathologies that did not interfere with the operation, 40 (23.1%) had pathologies that might affect the outcome of alveolar ridge reconstruction but still were admitted to surgery, and 53 patients (30.6%) had pathologies that could affect the outcome of the reconstruction procedure and were not admitted to bone grafting. Conclusions: Assessment of patients with alveolar ridge defects during preparation and planning of preimplantation bone reconstruction identified a number of concomitant pathologies, more or less noticed by the patient, which may remain unclear due to superficial study of the patient’s condition that is able to influence the surgical treatment outcome. These issues can be both intraoperative and postoperative and lead to failure of surgical treatment and further reoperation.

This industry, established since 2009, is one of the industries for making raw crackers with various kinds of crackers, which is located in simo angin-angin village, sidoarjo city which produces various kinds of crackers, namely casandra crackers, rose crackers, braid crackers and made with quality flour and fuel. to oven, namely with the steam obtained from the boiler / steam boiler. This study aims to design and suggest improvements to the facility layout properly and the flow of materials smoothly, so that the material travel distance is not too long and can reduce the alternating flow of the production process material in CV Andi Jaya with the Activity Relation Chart method with the application blocplan. One indicator that can determine how good a Layout is is by comparing the total moments in the Layout. From the results of the calculation of total moment efficiency using BLOCPLAN shows better results, where there is an increase of 0.52% from the existing condition or initial layout.

International political speeches have played an extremely important role in political environment and take broader public attention due to their political, economy, and cultural values manifested through the language used. Systemic–Functional Grammar introduced and developed by Halliday (1967) sets out that with languages there are ideational meta-function, interpersonal meta-function, and textual meta-function. Hiring the theory of transitivity from Halliday’s Systemic Functional Linguistics, this study focuses on analysing Joko Widodo’s keynote speech. The aim is to figure out the deeper meaning of the speech through the distributions and so the dominations of the transitivity processes along with their participants. At the same time this study tries to find out the hidden information by analysing the functions of the transitivity processes and the main participants. The qualitative method is employed for the transitivity analysis while the quantitative method is taken to provide the statistic description on the distributions of the types of the process and the participants found. The analysis generates two major findings: First, there are five types of process: material, relational, verbal, mental, existential and the participants found, and no single behavioural process and its participants occurred. Among them, the material process and relational process along with their participants dominate the speech, which makes it well-delivered, more powerful, objective, and convincing. Second, the pronouns ‘we, our, and us’ are found as the main participants in Joko Widodo’s keynote speech that indicate his efforts to draw a close relation between him and his audience so his addressing has succeeded.

Background: The process to obtain valid informed consent in healthcare reflects many aspects. Healthcare professionals that take care of the patient must provide him all the necessary information and verify his understanding, considering individual characteristics. Nurses are one of the main participants in this process. Objective: This study assesses nurses’ perceptions of their role in the informed consent process. Material and Methods: An observational study involving 300 nurses operating in 13 wards of the Padua Hospital, through the submitting of a questionnaire in the period November–December 2018. Results: The final sample is made up of 206 nurses—27 males (13.11%) and 179 females (86.89%). Work experience, on average 15 years, is significant in determining the answers to questions about opinions and experiences. Age is significant in determining how often nurses provide information to the patient’s family members about the actions to be taken after discharge. The ward was decisive in the responses related to information provided to patients on the nursing care level and the actions to be taken after discharge, and the definition of the nurse’s duties. Conclusions: The data collected show the need for interventions to reduce the causes of difficult that the nurse has in informing patients.

Asphalt-treated cold recycled pavements, including cold in place recycling, full depth reclamation, and cold central plant recycling, are becoming popular rehabilitation options because they are economical, sustainable, and provide good performance. Because asphalt-treated cold recycled pavements use foamed or emulsified binder, they require a curing period post-construction before being opened to traffic or surfaced. Uniform guidelines on when an asphalt-treated cold recycled roadway can be opened to traffic or surfaced are not widely established, many are based on time or moisture content, and extreme ranges exist among agency specifications. Mixture designs also vary widely among agencies with regard to active filler use and asphalt recycling agents, further complicating the determination of necessary curing time. NCHRP Project 09-62 investigated a variety of test methods for determining when a recycled roadway could be opened to traffic or surfaced. This included extensive laboratory and field evaluations. New shear strength and raveling test methods were developed. For each test method a ruggedness study and inter-laboratory study were performed. The ruggedness study revealed critical test fixture and operation parameters. Six asphalt-treated cold recycled pavement process/material combinations were tested by three entities to develop precision estimates and statements (i.e., repeatability and reproducibility) for the new test methods. Tools and information from this study provide a rational basis for establishing specifications, which will help reduce pavement damage from early traffic and minimize roadway closures and delays.
