This article deals with the problem of recreating the speech portrait of the main character in a cinematic context. The main components of the phonetic feature and lexical, as well as grammatical characteristics of the speech of the studied character are determined. Conclusions are deduced about the relationship between linguistic and extralinguistic factors that mediate the speech behavior of a particular language personality.

Retranslation in the context of evolution of translators’ reception of the original

The article is devoted to the consideration of the retranslation of the original in the context of translations evolution. After analysis of translators’ discourse, as well as critical essays, the author comes to the conclusion that the focus of the translator on a certain audience leads to the foreignization of the translation, and the focus on the language of the original author contributes to preserving the features of the author’s style and the national nature of the original.

The article explores ways to convey the linguistic features of various social groups in the works of the English novelist C. Dickens by means of a grafon and the influence of this expressive means on the style of the work. The authors analyzed and systematized the data obtained in the course of comparing the speech of people with different social status.

Characterization of the hemodynamic parameters of adolescent boys in the city of Magadan depending on the somatotype

The work was carried out on male students aged 11–14 years living in Magadan. Studies have shown that adolescents with macrosomatotype in all age groups significantly exceed their peers with meso-and microsomatotype in terms of systolic blood pressure, cardiac output and shock volume. The most significant differences were found between groups with Mac and Mic, and individuals with Mec occupy an intermediate position in the studied indicators.

Determining the algorithm for overcoming grammar interference in Chinese bachelor’s language

This article presents the results of the study on algorithms of overcoming grammar interference in teaching Chinese language bachelor. The purpose of the study was to define algorithms for preventing grammatical interference, to compare them and to identify advantages and disadvantages. The relevance of the study is determined by the need to develop special manuals for foreign language education. The methodology of the study was to study and analyze scientific sources. The study presents two algorithms for overcoming interference — a rational method and a structural method. Both methods are described in stages which functions are performed when implementing them, which requirements need to be taken into account. The conclusion concludes on the advantages and disadvantages of the methods presented. The findings confirm the feasibility of developing special manuals, using such techniques to overcome grammatical interference.
