A Brief Analysis on the Improvement of Resistance to Adversity of Adolescents in Growing Dilemma

The mental health of adolescents has been a hot issue in society. This article views the growth predicament of the teenagers from the angle of social work, and helps the teenagers get rid of the growth predicament by improving the resistance to adversity. The resistance to adversity is a very necessary personal quality in the growth and development of the teenagers. From the physical and psychological characteristics of the teenagers in the predicament, it can be learned that the teenagers' behaviors are often manipulated by the emotional factors and tend to produce extreme behaviors. Therefore, it is particularly important to improve the level of stress resistance of adolescents. In real life, when the teenagers are in a difficult situation, good level of resistance can make them better face the setback and calmly seek the solution of the problem, which will help the teenagers accumulate life experience. Therefore, it is of great significance to study how to improve the resistance of teenagers from the angle of social work.

The discursive strategy of news reports about Chinese leaders in the Russian media

В статье проведен анализ микротекстов новостных сообщений российских СМИ о китайских лидерах, изучены дискурсивные стратегии. В статье используется корпусный инструмент AntConc 3.4.3 для извлечения высокочастотных слов и анализа коллокаций (т.е. словосочетаний); используется метод системно-функцио-нальной лингвистики Хэллидея для анализа транзитивности, интертекстуальности текстов в корпусах. Результаты анализа показывают, что новостные сообщения о китайских председателях в российских СМИ имеют положительное значение в общем, имидж председателей Китая также является положительным. Расширение и углубление сфер китайско-российского сотрудничества и отношений между двумя странами всегда находятся в центре внимания российских СМИ. В новостных сообщениях о китайских председателях российские СМИ создают образ китайского председателя как друга и единомышленника России. От председателя Цзян Цзэминя до председателя Си Цзиньпина степень дружбы постепенно увеличивалась. Российские СМИ наиболее основательно создают имидж руководства Си Цзиньпина. С помощью прямых и косвенных цитат они подчеркивают лидерский имидж председателя Си Цзиньпина и его личные качества, которые помогают вести Китай к великому возрождению. This paper analyzes the microtexts of news reports of the Russian media about Chinese leaders, as well as to study the discursive strategy used by the Russian media in news reports about Chinese leaders. The article uses the corpus tool AntConc 3. 4. 3 to extract high-frequency words and analyze collocations (i.e. phrases); the Halliday method of system-functional linguistics is used to analyze transitivity, intertextuality of texts in corpora. The results of the analysis show that news reports about the Chinese presidents in the Russian media show a positive value in general and the image of the Chinese presidents is also positive. The expansion and deepening of the spheres of Sino-Russian cooperation and relations between the two countries are always in the center of attention of the Russian media. In news reports about the Chinese chairmen, the Russian media create the image of the Chinese chairmen as a friend and like-minded person of Russia. From Chairman Jiang Zemin to President Xi Jinping, the degree of friendship gradually deepened. The Russian media always create the image of the leadership of the Chinese presidents and most thoroughly create the image of the leadership of Xi Jinping. With the help of direct and indirect quotes, they emphasize the leadership image of President Xi Jinping and his personal quality in the process of leading China to a great revival.

Patriotic Education of Youth: Research of the Effectiveness of Modern Practice

The article is devoted to the analysis of the organization of patriotic upbringing of young citizens living in the city of Novosibirsk, their attitude to citizenship, patriotism as a result of such upbringing. The connection between the young people’s understanding of the state and processes of citizenship and patriotism and their actions in society is determined. Patriotism is understood by the authors as one of the deep and stable feelings that are brought up in young people and which can be one of the reasons for the successful development of the individual. Citizenship is considered as a fundamental personal quality, with which patriotic feelings are inextricably linked, and on the basis of which the traits of a full-fledged citizen are formed, striving for active positive development. The article analyzes the organization and conduct of events for the education of citizenship and patriotism and the attitude of young people to them. The possibilities of civil-patriotic activities, including those related to official state holidays and events in the formation of civil qualities and patriotic feelings of the personality of a young person, are studied. The purpose of the article is to study what is the impact of event of a civil-patriotic orientation, as a component of patriotic upbringing on the formation of civil-patriotic qualities in young people and the attitude of young people to citizenship and patriotism. Research methodology and methods. The methodological basis of the research is the understanding of citizenship as a fundamental personal quality and patriotism as one of the deepest and most significant feelings that have an indissoluble connection. This unity becomes the most important element of the social behavior of a young person, allowing him, on the one hand, to be included in the life of society, to fulfill his duties, to enjoy rights, to take actions aimed at improving the life of society. One of the leading elements here is the responsibility of the individual, which is a component of citizenship and patriotism and is manifested (should be manifested) in the real actions of a young person. The study used theoretical (analysis and synthesis) and empirical (questionnaire) methods. The survey was carried out in two ways: online survey on the Internet and personal survey of respondents. The results of the study. The authors believe that despite the generally positive perception of youth activities aimed at educating citizenship and patriotism, among young people there are multidirectional trends both in understanding and in relation to the concepts of “citizenship”, “patriotism”, to their components and to their direct manifestations. Often there are misconceptions about the content of the activity, ignoring both the important events themselves and social activities in general. In conclusion, it is concluded that it is necessary to strengthen the work on introducing into the youth environment an understanding of the essential content of the concepts of citizenship and patriotism, as well as aimed at directly involving young people in activities and participation in society. It is necessary to move from the mainly military orientation in the education of patriotism to a broader activity and the formation of civil qualities of the individual in direct connection with the activities in society.

Conceptualizing social media sub-platforms: The case of mourning and memorialization practices on Facebook

This article offers a conceptual framework of Facebook’s sub-platforms: Profiles, Groups, and Pages. We demonstrate the crucially different affordances that these sub-platforms possess, and the various resulting social practices and dynamics that they enable. With mourning and memorialization as a case study, our findings point at emergent practices ranging along a personal-to-public spectrum of communicative functions and media uses: Profiles offer a personal quality, albeit differently for the bereaved’s Profile and the deceased’s Profile; Groups possess a hybrid nature, combining self-expression alongside public aspects, reviving thus premodern bereaved communities; and Pages possess a distinctly public quality, serving as online memorialization centers where the deceased becomes an icon and a resource for mobilizing broad social change. This comparative and integrated approach may be applied productively to other contexts and other social media (sub-)platforms.

MEANING FORMATION IN JOINT ACTIVITIES AS A BASIS FOR THE DEVELOPMENT OF EMOTIONAL INTELLIGENCE OF THE INDIVIDUAL

The article is devoted to the study of the problem of the development of emotional intelligence of the individual. The article considers the possibility of developing emotional intelligence. The paper substantiates the need for the development of this personal quality, as well as its importance for the successful socialization of the individual, his personal growth. Also, the scientific article considers the meaning formation in the learning process as the basis for the development of emotional intelligence of the individual. The paper analyzes the essence of the concept of "emotional intelligence", considers its structural components. The study presents the conditions and the main stages of the formation of emotional intelligence of the individual.

Problem learning method in the context of personal creativity development of a musician teacher

In this article the authors consider the phenomenon of creativity as an integrative personal quality of a music teacher, characterizing him from the standpoint of internal freedom, harmony, well-developed creative imagination, readiness to make choices in non-standard situations, independence of own opinion, ability to independently lead productive activity and focus on its result – creation of an original creative product. The obtained qualitatively unique result should be distinguished by novelty, which is the main sign or indicator of creative activity in general. Consequently, in order to develop the creativity of an individual in the process of organizing educational activities, it becomes necessary to use creative teaching methods. The process of developing creativity in course of increasing vocal experience consists of purposeful interaction of musical art, co-creation of a teacher together with a student in adequate conditions with the use of effective methods of problem-based learning and choosing situations for realizing the creative potential of a student.
