This article aims to explore the role of induction in the construction Islamic commandments and the rules of Islamic jurisprudence. The pioneers of Islamic jurisprudence do not release rulings unless there is evidence indicating the issue, so, they base their fatwa or their actions with a legal ruling on evidence, and this evidence may be definitive, such as the book of Allah Almighty, the Sunnah, the consensus, or indefinite, except that when they mention some evidence along with its textual basis. They say: This is evidenced by consensus, and the basis for consensus is as for the Quran, the Sunnah, or induction. The legal rulings were based on evidence that had a basis to lean on, so, I tried in this research to study the legal evidence, and what it leans on. I chose the induction that follows all the particles of essence, and how this induction is the basis of the legal evidence, as their saying of consensus is based on induction.

This article deals with an important aspect of Qur’ānic studies, which is the comparisons made in the Qur’ān and their purposes. The Qur’ān compares between various things. These comparisons are scattered throughout the Qur’ān. For example, we find in the Qur’ān a comparison between guidance and error, between Allah and false idols, between faith and disbelief, between the believer and the unbeliever, between knowledge and ignorance, between Paradise and Hell, etc. These Qur’ānic comparisons have a variety of eloquent methods as well as purposes to pursue. This research highlights these methods and explains these purposes after inferring them from the comparisons made in the verses of the Qur’ān.

This article discusses different aspects of dialogue in the light of the Qur’ān and Sunnah. The Qur’ān calls for dialogue and the biography of the Prophet Muḥammad tells that he interacted with polytheists, hypocrites, and the people of the book. Therefore, dialogue with other religions is not just a forced choice imposed by geographical, social, or political realities; rather it is the best strategy that the Prophet employed during the Meccan and Medina phases of Islamic preaching. However, in the modern period, some people may accuse Islam of opposing interfaith dialogue. This study highlights that such accusations are baseless and that Islam teaches its followers to have dialogue with the adherents of other religions in the best possible way. Moreover, this study identifies the ways to promote and strengthen interfaith dialogue in the modern age.
