In S. pneumoniae, the combination of methylation status of G748 and the residue at position 94 in L22 are essential for both the distribution of ribosome stalling and the binding of TEL to ribosomes.
Results support the role of NPET on ribosome stalling. NPET structure is required to realize the species-specific and evolutionary conserved ribosome stalling. These findings clarify the role of NPET structure on the translation process.
The earthworm, Eudrilus eugeniae is an economical model system for cell and molecular biological experiments to study regeneration and stem cell biology. The purpose of this brief review is to summarize those published studies on the regeneration biology using E. eugenia and to provide the advantages of the model system.
Although RPL remains unexplained in about 50% of the cases, gynecological, endocrinological, immuno-hematological and genetical factors have been described.
Thus, we provide evidence for association of the non-synonymous variant IL6 −174G / C (rs1800795) with risk of RA in the Belarusian population, some features of interplay being revealed between gene polymorphisms analyzed and both gender of patients and RA antibody status.
Our results support the deleterious role of SLC1A4 variants and highlight the need of considering this entity, regardless of ethnicity, in pediatric patients presenting with unexplained neurodevelopmental delay and progressive microcephaly, associated or not with spastic tetraplegia or early onset epileptic encephalopathy.
