Selecting sunspaces-attaching passive solar house and contrast house which have the same layout and enclosure structure, with the software of DEST to build model and simulation, obtained a heating period interior hourly temperature of the two houses. Arranging, calculating the white, day average indoor temperature of solar house and contrast house. The results show that sunspaces-attaching passive solar house can improve the indoor temperature 3°C, energy saving rate is 37% in this area.

This work addresses the effect of using thermochromic paints in residential buildings. Two different thermochromic paint types were considered: One that changes properties through a step transition at a certain temperature, and another that changes properties in a gradual/linear manner throughout a temperature range. The studied building was a two-floor villa, virtually simulated through a digital model with and without thermal insulation, and considering thermochromic paints applied both on external walls and on the roof. The performance assessment was done through the energy use for heating and cooling (in conditioned mode), as well as in terms of the indoor temperature (in free-floating mode). Three different cities/climates were considered: Porto, Madrid, and Abu Dhabi. Results showed that energy savings up to 50.6% could be reached if the building is operated in conditioned mode. Conversely, when operated in free-floating mode, optimally selected thermochromic paints enable reductions up to 11.0 °C, during summertime, and an increase up to 2.7 °C, during wintertime. These results point out the great benefits of using optimally selected thermochromic paints for obtaining thermal comfort, and also the need to further develop stable and cost-effective thermochromic pigments for outdoor applications, as well as to test physical models in a real environment.

In this paper, the author build a new type of Kang with paraffin as its heating surface. Paraffin is a kind of phase change material ,which can stroage and release heat at a relatively constant temperature. It can make full use of the heat of the smoke in the Kang and extend the Kang heating period. We do comparison test of the the traditional Kang room and the phase change Kang room and related temperature was recorded. The tested result shows that the average temperature of the head, medium and tail of traditional Kang varies greatly, the maximum difference of the temperature is over 20°C. While the average temperatures of the head, middle and tail of the phase change thermal storage Kang are 32.59°C, 28.38°C and 26.12°C, Kang surface temperature distribution is more uniform, which improves the comfort of Kang surface. The indoor temperature with phase change thermal storage Kang shows an upward trend after the fuels burnt out until the wee hours. And the average indoor temperature is 1 °C higher than the comparision room. The phase change thermal storage Kang greatly improves the thermal comfort of its heating surface and indoor temperature.

The paper explores a new method of the heating measurement and charging in the central heating system. The method is different from mechanical heat metering and ultrasonic heat metering existing now. However, by measuring the indoor temperature and recording the temperature periodically during the heating period, and upload the data which are measured and stored in the terminal periodically to the Internet serve by GPRS. It can adjust the charging according to the actual indoor temperature which is transmitted by the terminal. Finally not only can the system meet the requirements of the users in the heating period, but also achieve the building energy efficiency. Adhere to people-oriented principle. Make the service of heating become more and more humanized.

This paper studies thermal environment of closed balconies that commonly exist in residential buildings, and designs a passive solar residential building. The design optimizes the architectural details of the house and passive utilization of solar energy to provide auxiliary heating for house in winter and cooling in summer. This design might provide a more sufficient and reasonable modification for microclimate in the house.
