Confidentiality is one of the important parameters for increasing security on the network, the coal of which is to keep secret information. A trust model consisting of current and past assessments based on the object reputation in the network is considered. The model uses a time parameter to protect user privacy for static and dynamic objects, for example, in IoT or cloud technology.

ABSTRACT A Markov process (chain) of gene frequency change is derived for a geographically-structured model of a population. The population consists of colonies which are connected by migration. Selection operates in each colony independently. It is shown that there exists a stochastic clock that transforms the originally complicated process of gene frequency change to a random walk which is independent of the geographical structure of the population. The time parameter is a local random time that is dependent on the sample path. In fact, if the alleles are selectively neutral, the time parameter is exactly equal to the sum of the average local genetic variation appearing in the population, and otherwise they are approximately equal. The Kolmogorov forward and backward equations of the process are obtained. As a limit of large population size, a diffusion process is derived. The transition probabilities of the Markov chain and of the diffusion process are obtained explicitly. Certain quantities of biological interest are shown to be independent of the population structure. The quantities are the fixation probability of a mutant, the sum of the average local genetic variation and the variation summed over the generations in which the gene frequency in the whole population assumes a specified value.

In allusion to the issue of rolling bearing degradation feature extraction and degradation condition clustering, a logistic chaotic map is introduced to analyze the advantages of C0 complexity and a technique based on a multidimensional degradation feature and Gath–Geva fuzzy clustering algorithmic is proposed. The multidimensional degradation feature includes C0 complexity, root mean square, and curved time parameter which is more in line with the performance degradation process. Gath–Geva fuzzy clustering is introduced to divide different conditions during the degradation process. A rolling bearing lifetime vibration signal from intelligent maintenance system bearing test center was introduced for instance analysis. The results show that C0 complexity is able to describe the degradation process and has advantages in sensitivity and calculation speed. The introduced degradation indicator curved time parameter can reflect the agglomeration character of the degradation condition at time dimension, which is more in line with the performance degradation pattern of mechanical equipment. The Gath–Geva fuzzy clustering algorithmic is able to cluster degradation condition of mechanical equipment such as bearings accurately.

In a recent paper, the authors have discussed the concept of quasi-stationary distributions for absorbing Markov chains having a finite state space, with the further restriction of discrete time. The purpose of the present note is to summarize the analogous results when the time parameter is continuous.
