Through analyzing and testing the microstructure and property of ZL114A aluminum alloy castings under the condition of alternating electromagnetic field, the effects of the intensity of alternating electromagnetic field on the microstructure and property of ZL114A aluminum alloy castings are studied. The results showed the intensity of alternating electromagnetic field had a great influence on the microstructure and property of ZL114A aluminum alloy castings. With the increase of the intensity of alternating electromagnetic field, the grain size of ZL114A aluminum alloy was more and more small, under the 10A current intensity, the grain was the finest. Whereas, with the increase of the intensity of alternating electromagnetic field further, the grain is more and more big. Meanwhile, in a certain rang of current intensity, the mechanical performance of ZL114A aluminum alloy had been improved comprehensively, its tensile intensity was improved 10MPa and the elongation was increased by 30%.

One of the main reasons for the scrap of cast thin-wall frame aluminum alloy castings is deformation and cracking. It is an effective method for solving the problem by predicting the distribution of casting stress, clarifying the size of the deformation and the location of the crack, and taking necessary measures in the process. This paper uses the ProCAST software to simulate the thermal stress coupling of A356 thin-walled frame castings, analyzes the influence of pouring temperature, pouring speed and mold temperature on the stress field distribution of castings, predicts the hot cracking trend and deformation, and optimizes Casting process..

A comparative study of the surface contaminated layer formed by chemical reaction between ceramic-mold and titanium aluminum alloy castings or titanium alloy castings were carried out. The morphology, thickness and hardness of the surface contaminated layer were characterized by means of metalloscopy and microhardness measurement. The results show that surface contaminated layers formed between Ti-Al alloy castings and ceramic-mold, also formed between Ti alloy castings and ceramic-mold. The surface contaminated layers of Ti-Al alloy castings were continuous and compact, their thickness was about 0~90 μm. The surface contaminated layers of titanium alloy castings were not even, their thickness was 0~900 μm. Titanium alloy is more liable to react with the ceramic -mold than the Ti-Al alloy.
