Analyzing the importance of the factors which influence the flow safety of the heated oil pipeline is an important part of the whole assessment process, which is of great significance on the results analysis, phenomenon explanation, and risk control after the assessment. Focusing on the problems in the influencing factors' importance analysis on crude oil pipeline flow assurance assessment, a new method to analyze the importance of the influencing factors is proposed which considers the factors' fluctuations. Based on the actual probability distribution of the influencing factors during the stable operation of the pipeline, a new measure standard of the factors' importance is defined which can measure different factors importance and realize the importance sorting of each factor. The influence of different factors on the inlet temperature is taken as an example. The importance analysis and sensitivity analysis of the influencing factors on the actual pipeline have been done, the results of which are also compared. The results show that this method can combine the pipeline actual operating conditions and the influencing factors' actual fluctuation, reflecting the effect on the results' importance in different values of each factor and different fluctuation. This method can make comprehensive analysis on the importance of the influencing factors effectively.

To overcome the disadvantage of traditional variance-based importance measures, i.e. the effects of different realizations of input variables on output response may mutually counteract each other, a modified variance-based importance measure is presented for importance analysis of the input variables. The proposed measure analyses the importance of the input variables comprehensively in terms of the expectation and variance of the output response. Compared with the traditional variance-based importance analysis method, the modified importance measure indices not only reflect the old one, but also provide a very useful supplement for it. Furthermore, combined with the advantages of the state dependent parameter model, a solution to the proposed measure indices is provided. Several examples are introduced to show that the modified importance measure is more comprehensive and reasonable, and the solution based on the state dependent parameter method can improve computational efficiency considerably with acceptable precision.

As an important part of CNC machine tools, machining center's reliability, efficiency and accuracy measure the machining level of a CNC machine tool. Therefore, the research on the importance of CNC machine tools is particularly important. However, as a complex mechanical and electrical equipment, the traditional reliability importance analysis method is too simple. In order to solve this problem, this passage proposes to establish the reliability model of each part of the machining center, and then analyze its dynamic importance, which improves the limitation of only reliability importance analysis. Through the analysis the reliability importance and criticality importance, and then rank the result of importance analysis, finally it can get that the ranking results of the key components accord with the fact, so the results can provide support for the importance research of machining center.

In order to overcome the shortage of dealing with fuzzy information and uncertainty of fault logical relationship in traditional importance measures, the fuzzy set theory is presented to fault tree, using fuzzy number to describe the fault states of system and components, and using fuzzy subsets to denote the fault rates, a fuzzy fault tree of T-S modle was established. And a model of fuzzy fault tree was established and a T-S fuzzy importance analysis method was presented on the basis of T-S analysis method. The method is applied in the importance analysis of hydraulic system, and proving that the algorithms are feasible.
