AbstractSafety-critical systems have to follow extremely high dependability requirements as specified in the standards for automotive, air, and space applications. The required high fault coverage at runtime is usually obtained by a combination of concurrent error detection or correction and periodic tests within rather short time intervals. The concurrent scheme ensures the integrity of computed results while the periodic test has to identify potential aging problems and to prevent any fault accumulation which may invalidate the concurrent error detection mechanism. Such periodic built-in self-test (BIST) schemes are already commercialized for memories and for random logic. The paper at hand extends this approach to interconnect structures. A BIST scheme is presented which targets interconnect defects before they will actually affect the system functionality at nominal speed. A BIST schedule is developed which significantly reduces aging caused by electromigration during the lifetime application of the periodic test.

Some boundedness results for the  wavelet transform on  $F_p([0,1]^n)$ and  $F_p^*([0,1]^n)$, the spaces of periodic test functions, are obtained. The wavelet transform is also studied on generalized Sobolev space  $B^\kappa_p([0,1]^n)$.

The paper aimed to correlate the teachers’ performance and learning outcomes on grade 10 students’ first periodic test and the teachers' Performance as assessed by headteachers and students in relationships with the knowledge of the subject matter and pedagogical approaches such as constructivism, collaborative, integrative, inquiry-based and reflective approaches. The respondents were the schools offering the same strands on Information and Communications Technology, Cookery and Wellness Massage located in North Cluster, Division of Cavite Province in the Philippines. As to the knowledge of the subject matter and pedagogical approaches, the teachers' Performance was outstanding as assessed by headteachers. Amongst the pedagogical approaches, the integrative approach obtained the highest meanwhile. The reflective approach got the lowest mean.  The data were analyzed with the descriptive method and documentary analysis on teachers’ performance and learning outcomes on students’ first periodic tests. These were also the means of obtaining the data requirements of this research. The findings revealed that the teachers' Performance was highly satisfactory as assessed by students. Amongst the pedagogical approaches, constructivism approach acquired the highest mean while reflective approach got the lowest mean. Moreover, there is a significant difference on teachers' Performance as assessed by headteachers and by students, and there are a significant relationship and weak positive correlation on teachers' Performance on learning outcomes of students' first periodic test and on the assessments of students as to knowledge of the subject matter and pedagogical approaches except for reflective approach which has a very weak positive correlation.

Abstract Domestic diesel-generator units of M310 reactor nuclear power plants at present adopt the French standard RCC-E 2005 emergency for periodic tests. During low-power periodic tests, the diesel-generators are not adequately protected, and there is a risk of serious damage to equipment. This article analyzes in detail the provisions of the IEEE 387 standard for the periodic tests of emergency diesel-generator unit, improves the periodic tests of the emergency diesel-generator unit according to the IEEE 387 standard, cancels the original low-power tests, and uses the test during the normal operation of the unit in order to solve this problem. The grid-connected test method and detailed analysis of the improved test content make the EDG periodic test method more economical and safe. The improvement has been approved by the nuclear safety regulatory agency, which provides an important reference for the related periodic test improvement of nuclear power plants.
