Development of remote laboratory for embedded systems complex hardware/software design is an actual task, because the challenges existing in this area, require qualitatively new techniques, technologies and tools of design. By using the possibilities of remote labs and reusable hardware/software components, developer can more optimally organize the project and realize it in a shorter time. Development and usage of remote labs for designers can give new opportunities and ways for accumulation and study of existing design experience and ready solutions. On the other side, today, in the area of remote laboratories development are no common standards and approaches. Different developers offer different solutions for laboratory functionality, interfaces, a set of experiments, etc. At the same time, there are a number of ready-made solutions that can be used repeatedly for more optimal development and rapid integration with existing projects. Therefore, investigation and implementation of re-use methodology and its practical realization is an urgent task. The paper presents the structural components and API of remote laboratory RELDES, proposed for reuse in other projects for creation of mobile applications, new clients or services. Open questions of RESTful API documenting are also discussed.

Many organizations, both large and small, are investigating the potential of storage architectures for their companies. Few years ago, we built our own virtualized cloud for REMLABNET and we still are taking benefits of this decision. This item handels with using Cloud computing platform for providing Remote laboratories. This work shows, how it is possible to save money if we use centralized system for more consumers. Every consumer can use access to centralized portal in the Cloud computing from Consortium REMLABNET. Every item is focused on enviroments of universities, where this cloud is existing and this is what we want to use for remote labs. This is item from practice knowledge and experiences about system function and managing virtual platform and next construction this proposal.

The purpose of this chapter is to provide an overview and subsequent application of research into the impact web conferencing and remote laboratories have on engineering and science education within the context of blended learning. The impact is examined especially in assessing the reaction and achievement of learners in using these new technologies compared to that of a traditional classroom or (the currently popular approach of) asynchronous e-learning. In recent years, there has been a significant increase in the level of remote or distance learning (or e-learning) using the Internet. One of the gaps in current research is the examination of the impact of web conferencing and remote science and engineering laboratories on the learning experience. The chapter is commenced by defining e-learning, synchronous, asynchronous and blended learning. Hereafter, web conferencing and remote laboratories are then defined and reviewed in detail. The impact that web conferencing and remote labs have on the e-learning experience as compared to the classroom and asynchronous approaches is then examined. The chapter is concluded by an examination of our research into what the perceived requirements are for web conferencing and remote laboratories and suggestions are given on how to apply web conferencing and remote labs to engineering and science education.

Most of currently existing laboratory servers of remote labs were built fully or partially with LabVIEW programming language from National Instruments. While proving to be the best tool for fast development of excellent SCADA and data acquisition applications, it appeared to be inadequate when it comes to deploying an application to the web. This paper will analyze the tools that can be used for accomplishing this task in the remote laboratories. Various National Instruments and third parties technologies will be compared. It will be shown that LabVIEW application serving as laboratory server can easily be deployed on the standard pluginless web-page without any modifications in LabVIEW code with WebPager.
