We present the usability evaluation of a haptic-enhanced telerehabilitation system for massage therapy of the back using the Vybe haptic gaming pad and the gesture sensor LEAP motion controller. The evaluated system includes features that allow for (i) administering online therapy programs, (ii) providing self-adjustable and safety treatment of back massages using a virtual environment, and (iii) saving and replaying massage sessions according to a patient’s therapy program. The usability evaluation with 25 older adults and 10 specialists suggests that the haptic telerehabilitation system is perceived with high usability and pleasurable user experience, while providing personalized intensity of haptic therapy in a supervised, real-time, and secure way to treat the patient. Moreover, the specialists totally agree that the system design features, such as save and play, and delimiting therapy zones are the most important for back massage therapy, while the features of regulating feedback intensity and providing/receiving a massage remotely are also important. Finally, based on their comments, five design insights aiming at improving the current version of the system were generated.

One of the traditional musical instrument from Indonesia is <em>gamelan</em>, that is now less desirable because people nowadays prefer to play modern musical instruments, or because of its expensive price. This study combines the modern technology of AR and Leap Motion and also utilizes the sophisticated smartphone to develop a <em>gamelan</em> simulation that is presentable to the user. There are two kinds of an experiment performed in this research. The first is Augmented Reality (AR) experiment which authenticates that the distance and the height parameters are the keys to get a 100% success in running the <em>gamelan</em> simulation. The distance is ranged from 45 cm to 65 cm and the height is ranged from 25 cm to 30 cm. And the second one is the usability evaluation to five users, who resolves the completion task very well, acquires the result of 86.48%.

This article focuses on the importance of Life skill education, which is an educational application of life skills to develop psycho social competence which helps an individual to develop his/her positive behaviour, so as to deal with the challenges and demand of everyday life. It is psycho social because it mainly deals mental functions such as awareness, attitude, leadership, creativity, appreciation and interaction with self, others and environment. It is a study of abilities, coping with peer pressure, emotion conflict and stress. UNICEF in 2009 has recommendation life skills based education should be given with the regular education. It has insisted LSBE should be contributed to a self inclusive gender free educational setting. Therefore research on LSBE is carried out massively in all parts in the world related to this education recently.

Robot transporter adalah robot yang digunakan untuk mengambil atau memindahkan barang yang dapat di kendalikan secara otomatis atau manual. Tetapi kendali robot transporter secara manual yang sudah dikembangkan saat ini hanya dapat dikendalikan dengan cara memberikan perintah menggunakan remote control konvensional. Maka pada penelitian ini dikembangkan robot transporter yang dikendalikan menggunakan sensor leap motion berdasarkan pembacaan posisi pergelangan tangan manusia (gesture tangan) dengan gerakan kombinasi yang sudah diatur sebelumnya. Robot transporter tersebut dapat dikendalikan dengan enam perintah, yaitu gerakan maju, mundur, kanan, kiri, serta mengambil dan meletakkan benda. Teknik pengendalian robot transporter menggunakan metode Decision Tree yang diolah dari pembacaan sensor leap motion, yang berfungsi untuk meminimalisirkan proses pemilihan keputusan yang kompleks menjadi lebih simple, sehingga pengambilan keputusan tersebut lebih menginterpretasikan solusi dari masalah yang ada. Setelah dilakukan pengujian, robot transporter dapat dikendalikan menggunakan gestur tangan dengan tingkat keberhasilan sebesar 91,42%. Hal ini dikarena ada beberapa kondisi ketika sensor tidak tepat dalam membaca beberapa parameter yang digunakan. Hal ini berpengaruh saat pengambilan keputusan menggunakan decision tree sehingga hasil keputusan kurang tepat.
