In this study, we implemented a high-performance two-terminal memristor device with a metal/insulator/metal (MIM) structure using a solution-derived In-Ga-Zn-Oxide (IGZO)-based nanocomposite as a resistive switching (RS) layer. In order to secure stable memristive switching characteristics, IGZO:N nanocomposites were synthesized through the microwave-assisted nitridation of solution-derived IGZO thin films, and the resulting improvement in synaptic characteristics was systematically evaluated. The microwave-assisted nitridation of solution-derived IGZO films was clearly demonstrated by chemical etching, optical absorption coefficient analysis, and X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy. Two types of memristor devices were prepared using an IGZO or an IGZO:N nanocomposite film as an RS layer. As a result, the IGZO:N memristors showed excellent endurance and resistance distribution in the 103 repeated cycling tests, while the IGZO memristors showed poor characteristics. Furthermore, in terms of electrical synaptic operation, the IGZO:N memristors possessed a highly stable nonvolatile multi-level resistance controllability and yielded better electric pulse-induced conductance modulation in 5 × 102 stimulation pulses. These findings demonstrate that the microwave annealing process is an effective synthesis strategy for the incorporation of chemical species into the nanocomposite framework, and that the microwave-assisted nitridation improves the memristive switching characteristics in the oxide-based RS layer.

Automatic monitoring of hydrologic properties such as water velocity at short-time intervals is critical for understanding watershed eco-hydrological processes. This can also be used to study the laws of stream flows and interactions ecological process. The advent of modern electronic technology (and the near-perfection of especially sensor and data collection technologies), has made it possible to use automatic monitoring systems to continuously measure hydrologic properties at short-time intervals. This paper introduces one such paperless flow velocity measuring/recoding system. The system uses a photoelectric sensor that is mainly comprised of photoelectric velocity sensor and pulse recorder. The system uses propellers (with reflective panels and photoemission cells) to transform flow velocities into optical pulse signals. It also uses photosensitive tubes to transform optical pulse signals into electric pulse signals. The electric pulse counts (generated in unit time) are recorded via pulse recorders. This therefore accomplishes automatic monitoring and continuous recording of fluid flow velocity.

The water seepage of underground structure is the serious problem in the construction engineering, and becomes one of the most harm in current infrastructure with the huge potential safety hazard and economic loss. The electro-osmosis technology is once widely used in the fields of soft ground stabilization of rock engineering, the biological pharmacy and the oil production engineering in China. This paper referred experiences of overseas, combined electric pulse signal and the electro-osmosis technology to reduce seepage of the underground structure, and solved underground structure water seepage problems. The paper comprehensively analyzed the research status of the technology at home and abroad and its feasibility in theory, also introduced the general implementation methods of projects, and carried on the comparison of the pulse electro-osmosis technology and the traditional moisture-proof technology in application.
