Diarrhea is still a major problem that causes the sickness and death of children in Indonesia.Incorrect administration of care, either at home or in health care, is the leading cause ofchildhood death with diarrhea. One of the management of children with acute diarrhea is aselective antibiotic and antidiarrheal is not given. The problems that arise at the hospital inMagelang, there is no clarity about the use of antibiotics and antidiarrheal for children withacute diarrhea. The purpose of this study was to investigate the use of antibiotics andantidiarrheal in children in the hospital. The method used in this study was a case study withdata collection using three sources of evidence, namely observation, interviews, and viewdocuments. The results obtained from this study were no SOPs of antibiotics and antidiarrheal, antibiotics were administered selectively, there were monitoring and following-up plans forantibiotics. Conclusions found weaknesses in the use of antibiotics and antidiarrheal in bothhospitals. That is the absence of standard operating procedures in the provision of antibiotic andantidiarrheal.

The planning and implementation of this case management model brought together a mul-tidisciplinary team with a common goal of providing a positive health care experience for the injured worker. The challenge of implementation of a case management model within a large, complex health care system has resulted in successful changes. For example, referral tracking has been improved due to the expected outcome of quality case management. The difficulties encountered due to the previous lack of consistency in occupational services within the seven occupational health clinics became an immediate concern with the implementation of the model. The formulation of the Standard Operating Procedures became a priority focus. Inconsistencies in service delivery have been identified and corrected by the development and implementation of regionally driven Standard Operating Procedures. Complex group process and interdepartmental communication efforts have resulted in more standardized health care for the clients. Community outreach with employer groups has been enhanced, providing a close liaison with the occupational health care team. Improved information exchange assists in ongoing monitoring of complicated cases and earlier problem resolution. The projected outcome is improved quality of care for the injured worker and a return to an optimal state of health and productivity.

Background. The risk of acquiring COVID-19 during a pandemic is a major concern among health care workers. Dental professionals being in close proximity to the patients had been exposed more than other health care workers. Hence, all the standard operating procedures (SOPs) are strictly advised to be followed. Methods. A detailed relevant literature search was conducted in international databases such as PubMed, Web of Science, and Science Direct, from January 2020 to November 2020. All the studies that provided recommendations regarding endodontic procedures during the COVID-19 pandemic were included, and those that were not in the English language, case reports, book chapters, and short communications were excluded in this review. In the end, only 6 articles were selected for the systematic review considering that complete information regarding the provision of dental care in the time of COVID-19 with diagnostic accuracy (STARD) was provided. Results. Endodontic treatments were restricted to only emergency dental procedures, and all other patients have advised medications and catered through teledentistry. Endodontic emergencies were advised to be carried out with minimal aerosol production procedures. Conclusion. Provision of endodontic care during COVID-19 restricted to only emergency dental procedures by strictly following standard operating procedures. A protocol for COVID-19 prevention was followed by all the dentists and the dental staff in the dental clinics.

Studies have shown that one of the failures of government projects in Malaysia is the lack of necessary knowledge among project team members. Therefore, knowledge management in project environment is seen as important because it enables project team members to perform project activities and make informed decisions more effectively. While knowledge in government projects are made explicitly through project reports, standard operating procedures, guidelines, policies, and others, the capture of tacit knowledge such as project team members’ experience, insights, and judgments are less emphasized. One of the tools to capture tacit knowledge is storytelling. This chapter presents a video-based storytelling system that enables project related tacit knowledge to be captured, stored, and circulated.

In this study we used a quasiexperimental, cross-sectional design with six cohorts differing in phase of treatment (pretreatment, posttreatment, 2-year posttreatment) and treatment type (psychoanalysis and psychoanalytic psychotherapy) and investigated scores on 39 Rorschach-CS variables. The total sample consisted of 176 participants from four mental health care organizations in The Netherlands. We first examined pretreatment differences between patients entering psychoanalysis and patients entering psychoanalytic psychotherapy. The two treatment groups did not seem to differ substantially before treatment, with the exception of the level of ideational problems. Next, we studied the outcome of psychoanalysis and psychoanalytic psychotherapy by comparing the Rorschach-CS scores of the six groups of patients. In general, we found significant differences between pretreatment and posttreatment on a relatively small number of Rorschach-CS variables. More pre/post differences were found between the psychoanalytic psychotherapy groups than between the psychoanalysis groups. More research is needed to examine whether analyzing clusters of variables might reveal other results.
