Distribution process that takes a long time along with improper treatment, can cause meat become not fresh and decrease the quality of the meat. Therefore, unscrupulous meat sellers cheating on the non-fresh meat by mixing the non-fresh meat with the fresh one. A system that can classify the type and freshness level of meat automatically is needed. In this research, that system was developed based on texture, color and shape features using Linear Discriminant Analysis (LDA) classification. The methods used in the feature extraction process are statistical approach, GLCM and the HU's invariant moment. The total of data used in this research was 960 images of 3 different meat types which are chicken meat, goat meat, and beef. The highest accuracy obtained from the testing process was 90% on the combination features of HSI and invariant moment for the meat type in refrigerator

Electric vehicles (EVs) have been widely used in urban cold chain logistic distribution and transportation of fresh products. In this paper, an electric vehicle routing problem (EVRP) model under time-varying traffic conditions is designed for planning the itinerary for fresh products in the urban cold chain. The object of the EVRP model is to minimize the total cost of logistic distribution that includes economic cost and fresh value loss cost. To reflect the real situation, the EVRP model considers several influencing factors, including time-varying road network traffic, road type, client’s time-window requirement, freshness of fresh products, and en route queuing for charging. Furthermore, to address the EVRP, an improved adaptive ant colony algorithm is designed. Simulation test results show that the proposed method can allow EVs to effectively avoid traffic congestion during the distribution process, reduce the total distribution cost, and improve the performance of the cold chain logistic distribution process for fresh products.

The definition of the cold chain logistics and the problem of the agricultural cold chain logistics are introduced. According to the characteristics of cold chain logistics, exploring the cold chain logistics distribution path optimization method. Based on the model of the agricultural products cold chain logistics distribution routing optimization, particle swarm optimization algorithm is constructed to solve the optimization problem. Taking an example, the results have been conducted finally to demonstrate the effectiveness of the algorithm for agricultural products cold chain logistics distribution routing optimization problem.
