This article studies the embedded SPC and its application in roundness measuring system by analyzing the current roundness measurement principle and technology. With analyzing the process of data collection, date treatment and various kinds of tool graphic construction, we study the feasibility of integrating SPC into roundness measurement and finally apply the embedded SPC as pure software into roundness measuring system. We design the roundness measuring system based on embedded SPC and develop the roundness measuring system of low power consumption, high accuracy and easy application, which is suitable for industry field usage.

This chapter investigates the reasons for, and implications of, the apparent absence in Krokodil's affirmative cartoons of positive character types, including Soviet political leaders. Without overstating their significance, it traces their "absent presence" by considering how, even when Soviet leaders were physically absent, their presence was still implied. Consequently, since images of those at the centre were so rare, we may describe Krokodil's affirmation of Soviet ideology visual discourse, de-centered. A performative reading of Krokodil's cartoons about ordinary citizens enables us to interpret the journal's own performance of its own acts of engagement with all the dominant popular-official themes of the Thaw era, notably the Space Race. By analyzing the graphic construction of cartoons affirming Soviet ideology from the post-Stalin period, we may understand more fully the magazine's performances of memory and critiquing present and past achievements.

This chapter introduces Krokodil to the general reader and places it in the context of the histories of the USSR, the Thaw, and graphic satire. It lays out the aims of the book, namely: to extend and nuance our understanding of Soviet graphic satire and challenge the "propaganda paradigm" by re-evaluating Krokodil's place in Soviet visual culture, investigating the graphic construction of ideology in the USSR, and to propose a new interpretation of the journal. The Introduction also draws out the significance of graphic satire by reference to postmodernism and continuing interest in the art of Soviet cartoonists and to the ways cartoon art influences contemporary politics. This chapter also provides clarification on key terms and referencing conventions.

In order to solve the problem that the engineering three-dimensional data field model in the virtual reality environment cannot be modified in real time and cannot carry out dynamic simulation, this paper proposes the skeleton grid modeling technology and establishes an engineering three-dimensional data model based on the OGRE graphics engine, which achieves a data-driven dynamic three-dimensional graphic construction. The technology has the ability to modify the real-time model grid geometry and topological characteristics, and provides the possibility of real-time simulation for large projects.

This paper focuses on the modelling, simulation and the performance analysis of a flexible manufacturing system using stochastic timed Petri nets so as to evaluate various performance parameters such as utilization rate of machines, deadlock detection, cycle time, and throughput rate of system in order to obtain the optimum productivity. The simulation of the manufacturing system using Petri nets provides the possibility to view the manufacturing process in time. Petri net model is implemented in Petri Net Toolbox under MATLAB environment. It is achieved the graphic construction of the net. Then, transporting it into a specific mathematical formalism it is made, so that the fulfiled structure to be fully retrieved and used to bring out the internal dynamics of the model. It is validated in this way the net topology, the evolution of (their dynamics), as well as the structural and behavioral properties (corresponding to checking if resources usage is stable and the model have no deadlocks). Some global performance indicators are determined in order to evaluate the performance of the proposed manufacturing system.

The present study investigated whether sensitivity to object violations in perception as well as in action would vary with age. Five-, 6-, and 11-yr.-old children and adults solved tasks which involved perception only, motoric indication of parts, actual assembly of parts, and drawing of a violated figure. In perception, object violation was the only factor showing change across age groups, with violations being increasingly noticed. In composition tasks involving motor components, object violation was just one factor besides quantity of parts and type of segmentation contributing to task difficulty and showing increase in performance across age groups. Analysis of object violations in visual structure required abilities similar to those needed when analysing shape interference. Improved visual detection and graphic construction of object violation seemed not to occur because segmentation increased quantitatively but more likely because fast perceptual processes came under scrutiny.

Introduction. Increased competition in the domestic consumer market requires retailers to find new methods of competition on the base of new market spacescreation. Purpose. Formation of strategic bases for creation of retail enterprises by new non-competitive market space. Methods. Analysis and synthesis, SPACE analysis, graphic construction, scientific abstraction. Results. The author’s vision of the strategic thinking concept as a basis for strategic transformation of an enterprise to new market space, which forms on the base of the needs of strategic self-identification, awareness of strategic risk and strategic protection, is presented. The role of strategic intuition and its essence in decision making is clarified. The comprehensive approach is proposed for determining the degree of market environment compaction and, accordingly, of competition (market lever), in which the existence of an enterprise under traditional competition laws is unlikely. On the base of comparative analysis, the feasibility of applying the principles of the SPACE coordinate system for constructingthe market lever in the following areas: market saturation, influencebranching, intellectual capacity, innovativeness is substantiated. Each direction is interpreted in meaningful criteria which are determined by the relevant indices. All indices of the market lever system are unified and standardized in their architecture, which allows their generalizing into single system and forming integral values in each of the four directions. Discussion. Interpreting the results of the market leverposition assessment, determining the necessary and sufficient boundaries of the market space (the formation of the blue and red oceans), are worth doing as they will determine the enterprise’sstrategic alternatives.
