Network analysis is a technique which determines the various sequences of activities concerning a project and the project completion time. The popular methods of this technique which is widely used are the critical path method and program evaluation and review techniques. The aim of this paper is to present an analytical method for measuring the criticality in an (Atanassov) intuitionistic fuzzy project network. Vague parameters in the project network are represented by (Atanassov) intuitionistic trapezoidal fuzzy numbers. A metric distance ranking method for (Atanassov) intuitionistic fuzzy numbers to a critical path method is proposed. (Atanassov) Intuitionistic fuzzy critical length of the project network is found without converting the (Atanassov) intuitionistic fuzzy activity times to classical numbers. The fuzzified conversion of the problem has been discussed with the numerical example. We also apply four different ranking procedures and we compare it with metric distance ranking method. Comparison reveals that the proposed ranking method is better than other raking procedures.

This paper deals with an analysis of Critical Path Method (CPM) and Programme Evaluation Review Technique (PERT) in Project Network. Here, we solve the PERT and CPM methodology using intervals and we determine the critical path and project duration of the network. We can also convert the fuzzy parameters (triangular and trapezoidal fuzzy numbers) into intervals using α − cuts. After which, we calculate the project duration and critical path. To illustrate this, numerical examples are provided.

ABSTRACT The increasing number of construction companies in Indonesia poses a challenge for companies to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of resource management in order to excel among competitors. The purpose of this study is to determine whether the implementation of Network Planning can improve efficiency and effectiveness in the allocation of time and cost on the construction project. The research method is a case study to address the problem at Putra Dewata PT Karya Tama concerning network planning of Mutiara Residence Housing project. Data analysis technique used is Critical Path Method. The results show that the project completion time is 142.5 days, 14.5 days faster than the calculation result by the company with Gantt Chart method. This will provide benefits in terms of cost of completion of the project, where cost efficiencies that can be gained is Rp. 20,807,500.   Keywords: network planning, critical path method, critical path.  


This critical path method is very useful method in the project network to succeed the multifaceted jobs. The main benefit of this technique is to decrease the completion time of the jobs. In this paper the Interval valued Hexagonal fuzzy number is applied to determine the critical path. The procedure for critical path method is described. Finally Numerical example is presented.

Penelitian ini membahas mengenai kegiatan verifikasi koleksi buku (stock opname) yang dilakukan di perpustakaan sekolah SMA Negeri 2 Medan. Metode yang digunakan untuk mengoptimalkan waktu penyelesaian kegiatan tersebut dengan network planning (analisa jaringan kerja) yaitu menerapkan Critical Path Method atau metode lintasan kritis. Hasil yang diperoleh dari pembahasan menunjukkan waktu optimal (waktu terpendek) untuk menyelesaikan kegiatan verifikasi koleksi buku tersebut adalah selama 41 hari dengan perkiraan waktu normal.

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah  untuk menganalisis network planning untuk mengoptimalkan kegiatan proyek yang dilakukan PT. harmoni mitra sukses terhadap produk UPS 80 kvA dengan melakukan crash untuk mengurangi resiko keterlambatan pengiriman produk UPS 80 kvA. Dengan menggunakan metode CPM ini peneliti mengurangi jam kegiatan proyek yang dimana kegiatan tersebut memiliki 12 kegiatan, yang dimana 3 kegiatan dilakukan diluar perusahaan PT. Harmoni Mitra Sukses yaitu kegiatan pengorderan dan pengiriman UPS dan komponen lainnya. Hal ini dimanfaatkan peneliti untuk mengurangi waktu kegiatan proyek, yaitu dengan melakukan kerja sama antar pihak Pt. harmoni Mitra Sukses dengan pihak supplier yaitu PT. Excercied untuk mensupplai produk yang diminta lebih awal sehingga waktu pengorderan dan pengiriman produk bisa dipercepat. Hal tersebut pun tidak  membuat biaya proyek membengkak lebih besar untuk membiayai tenaga kerja. Ini sangat menguntungkan bagi perusahaan karena perusahaan hanya akan mengeluarkan biaya lembur untuk beberapa kegiatan pembongkaran saja. Untuk kondisi percepatan, waktu penyelesaian selama 161 hari ( total percepatan 42 hari) dengan 3 lintasan kritis yang semua proses masuk ke lintasan kritis tersebut. Dalam percepatan waktu proses dilakukan berdasarkan keadaan dilapangan melalui teknik observasi lapangan dengan cara menambah jam lembur bagi tiap-tiap proses yang harus didahulukan. Biaya tak langsung dapat dinyatakan keterkaitannya dalam kegiatan proyek, anatara lain peralatan dan mesin, pengeluaran supervisor, administrasi lapangan, biaya pengawasan dan lain-lain. Besarnya biaya tak langsung adalah 5% dari total biaya langsung dan biaya tenaga kerja langsung yaitu sebesar Rp. 16.890.625; pada kondisi awal dan Rp. 17.969.125; pada kondisi percepatan. Kata Kunci : Network Planning dengan metode critical path method  produk UPS untuk mengurangi resiko keterlambatan pengiriman kepada RSAB Harapan Kita

PT. XYZ is a company engaged in the field of Readymix and precast concrete or concrete ready to use and precast concrete. This research is aimed to evaluate and accelerate the execution time and the cost with the critical path method (CPM), hopefully the job execution time is faster with a more efficient cost. The method that is done is to interview the employees who are appropriate to the field and to collect the necessary documents, from the data is carried out evaluation and further remediation measures to accelerate the work and efficiency of costs. From the results of the study came the conclusion that with a critical path method (CPM) application, job execution time can be accelerated and cost more efficiently..
