This research objectives aims to determine and analyze raw material inventory control, the ideal raw material inventory that the company must provide and the efficiency of production costs carried out by Jatisri Furniture Work in Tasikmalaya for the period 2018.11 – 2020.02. The data collection method in this study is by direct observation at Jatisari Furniture Work in Tasikmalaya. Using techniques such us interviews, observation, and documentation. These observations were made in production reports for the years 2018 – 2020. The analysis tool was carried out using the Economic Order Quantity (EOQ) method such us safety stock, reorder point, and total inventory cost. The result of the Economic Order Quantity (EOQ) analysis show that the total cost of raw the material inventory that must be incurred by the company is greater than the total cost of inventories calculated according to the EOQ method. Companies should follow the calculations from the EOQ method so that they can save on raw material inventory costs, so that production costs are more efficient.

Inventories are important in making sales for the company to meet consumer demand, so asexpected to be able fill up market needs and utilize existing opportunities to earn income. Ownedstock company must supply the optimum value, so as to meet every demand with minimum cost.then the company can use the method of economic order quantity (EOQ) calculation of theoptimum amount of inventory. By using the EOQ method is the cost incurred for the procurementof supplies to be more minimal. The purpose of this study was to determine how theimplementation of the EOQ method and inventory costs that occurred in the company, as well as tofind out how the role of the EOQ method in the company stock cost efficiently. Research on theauthor is in the PT. Setiajaya Mobilindo Bogor. PT. Setiajaya Mobilindo Bogor is a companywhich engaged in sales, service and spareparts. The results obtained by the method of economicorder quantity (EOQ) ordering the company to find out how economical for each inventory itemand find out the frequency of bookings for a period and when ordering goods to be redone, so thedemand for goods can be satisfied in the maximum. Thus the economic order quantity (EOQ)method important to act in efficient of suppy cost in that company.

The purpose of this research is to see whether an Economic Order Quantity model can be used to reduce cost of inventory significantly in PT PQR, manufacturer of spring and sponge mattresses in Pekanbaru, Indonesia. The research was conducted on three main materials required in producing spring and sponge mattresses. Using Economic Order Quantity (EOQ) model to analyze historical demand on main materials, it is proven that with EOQ model the company can save by more than 45% from procuring and inventory costs of those materials. The research continues to forecast the sales demand to get the annual requirement of materials needed in 2014 and calculate the EOQ model again. The results show that, comparing with traditional practice done by company, EOQ model can reduce costs up to 118 million rupiah per year.

Karton merupakan salah satu bahan baku pembantu yang digunakan dalam produksi Air Mineral dalam Kemasan. Menurut beberapa penelitian Metode EOQ digunakan untuk menganalisa persediaan. Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu untuk menentukan jumlah pemesanan ekonomis menggunakan metode Economic Order Quantity (EOQ) dan pengoptimalan biaya yang dapat dilakukan dengan metode EOQ.  Penelitian ini dilakukan pada bulan November 2019 hingga Januari 2020 di perusahaan PT. Asegar Murni Jaya. Variabel yang digunakan yaitu frekuensi kebutuhan karton, biaya pemesanan bahan baku dan biaya penyimpanan bahan baku.  Hasilnya menunjukkan bahwa pemesanan ekonomis menurut metode EOQ untuk karton dengan biaya optimal sebesar  unit untuk periode November 2017 – Oktober 2018 dan unit untuk periode November 2018 – Oktober 2019. Terjadi penghematan dalam biaya persediaan untuk periode November 2017 – Oktober 2018 sebesar  dan untuk periode November 2018 – Oktober 2019 sebesar .Kata kunci: Economic Order Quantity;  karton;  persediaan Carton Inventory Analysis Using the Economic Order Quantity (EOQ) Method (Case Study: PT. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui model pengendalian persediaan atau dikenal dengan istilah Economic Order Quantity (jumlah pemesanan ekonomis) dan dapat diterapkan pada sistem produksi di PD Handi Meubel Cirebon. Pengendalian persediaan sangat penting diterapkan oleh suatu perusahaan karena dapat meminimalkan biaya persediaan. PD Handi Meubel telah melakukan perhitungan dengan rumus umum total biaya persediaan. Lebih lanjut, peneliti mencoba memberikan model perhitungan dengan model Economic Order Quantity (EOQ) yang dapat memberikan keputusan tentang jumlah pemesanan. Hasil pengendalian persediaan pada PD Handi Meubel belum ekonomis karena besar biaya pemesanan (annual ordering cost) dan biaya penyimpanan (annual holding cost) tidak relatif sama. Hal ini menyebabkan total persediaan tidak mampu mencapai nilai minimum. Penerapan model EOQ dapat memberikan solusi kepada PD Handi Meubel karena total persediaan dari perusahaan tersebut dapat mencapai nilai minimum. Ketentuan pemesanan diperoleh dari hasil perhitungan menggunakan persamaan model EOQ yang dikenal dengan istilah Wilson Formula. Tujuan jangka panjang dari penelitian ini bagi prodi pendidikan matematika yaitu sebagai desain bahan ajar pada materi atau pokok bahasan yang ada di dalam mata kuliah Kalkulus Diferensial yang berbasis pada model pengembangan bahan ajar tertentu sehingga diharapkan dapat membantu mahasiswa dalam memahami konsep-konsep esensial yang ada di dalam mata kuliah tersebut, sehingga kebutuhan belajar mahasiswa dapat terpenuhi dengan baik. Target luaran yang diharapkan terlaksana setelah penelitian ini dilakukan yaitu mempublikasikan hasil penelitian ini melalui publikasi ilmiah, prosiding, dan pengayaan bahan ajar. Dengan demikian diharapkan hasil penelitian ini dapat bermanfaat secara luas bagi perusahaan dan mahasiswa. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode observasi dengan sistem wawancara terhadap kepala produksi di PD Handi Meubel Cirebon.
