In the current era, a development strategy is needed that can determine the success of all aspects of the business. If the company determines a strategy, problems will arise. In determining a business development strategy, it must be adjusted to the development of the current business situation, because even though the chosen strategy is very good, the situation and conditions are not supportive, then the strategy will fail. This study aims to develop IS / IT strategic planning in competing to increase pharmacy excellence, This research was conducted using the Ward and Peppard method and using the SWOT, Value Chain. The data taken are what factors can be strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, threats, and internal and external environmental analysis at the Kimia Farma Pharmacy Salatiga.

Indonesia's geothermal potential is the second largest in the world. But in fact, the magnitude of its geothermal potential has not been utilized optimally. With investments and risks that are quite high, and a relatively long period of time makes investors do not much invest in this energy sector. Especially with the presence of single buyer, in this case is PT PLN (Persero). The issue of power purchase agreement between developers and PT PLN (Persero) is still become the biggest obstacle to the development of geothermal power plant. This study aims to formulate an appropriate strategy priority used by PT Geo Dipa Energi (Persero) in producing the optimal cost of generating electricity based on Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources Regulation Number 50 of 2017 concerning Utilization of Renewable Energy Sources for Electricity Supply. Data collection uses judgment sampling techniques. External environmental analysis is carried out through PESTLE analysis, while internal environmental analysis is carried out through value chain analysis. TOWS analysis is conducted to provide an alternative strategies, that from choices of alternative strategies will be prioritized using AHP analysis. The results of the study produced the chosen strategy priority that is to conduct intensive coordination with PT PLN (Persero) in negotiations to develop a new prospect area.

Abstract Top House is a small architecture firm located in South Tangerang that focuses on design consultants for low and medium-rise buildings. The preliminary study has been conducted by interviewing the firm’s owner who also acts as the principal architect, to identify company problems. The results showed that the company revenue and net profit decreased significantly by about 20% from 2017 to 2019 and 75% from 2016 to 2019. Moreover, the consultancy service orders became small and decreased from 2015-2019. The decreased revenue and net profit were caused by a poor company and incomprehensive management system. To solve the problem using the external and internal environmental analysis. The external environmental analysis used the PESTEL, Porter Five’s Forces, and competitor analysis. Meanwhile, the internal environmental analysis used the VRIO framework, value chain analysis, and existing Business Model Canvas (BMC). Afterward, the data were summarized in the SWOT table for strategy formulation. It consisted of IE matrix and TOWS matrix as company level strategy and functional level strategy, then the new proposed Business Model Canvas (BMC). Based on the analysis of IE Matrix, the current company classification position is in cluster five. This indicates that the company should implement a hold and maintain business strategy with two options, namely market penetration and product development. Furthermore, pros and cons analysis is used to obtain the best strategy from these options. The company should implement a product development strategy by improving the existing product quality, namely green architectural requirements in the design concept and utilizing BIM technology. The TOWS matrix resulted in 11 functional strategies applied in the marketing, human resources, operations, and financial field.

Indonesia is one of the most potential markets for entrepreneurs who want to enter the coffee shop industry. The phenomenon of coffee as one of the local wisdoms in Indonesia has encouraged XYZ to have a vision of promoting the uniqueness of Indonesian coffee. However, XYZ ran into various hurdles to keep his business. XYZ’s performance from early 2018 to early 2020 experienced fluctuating conditions and in early 2020 experienced a drastic decline due to the effects of COVID-19. Then in mid-2020, the company started to improve its strategy in dealing with the impact of the pandemic. Currently, XYZ has one store in Tebet, South Jakarta. This study aims to assist the XYZ team in improving sales performance, especially in marketing strategies. In identifying external problems, this study uses general environmental analysis, industrial environmental analysis and competitor analysis. In identifying internal problems, this study uses resource analysis, value chain analysis, marketing mix analysis and competitor exploration. Furthermore, this study uses a qualitative approach that collects data from interviews with 15 customers as respondents. The respondents who were interviewed had the aim of capturing customer values and XYZ's ability to fulfill customer values. Interviews were also conducted due to changes in conditions caused by the pandemic which are likely to have an impact on customer value. Based on the analysis and determination of the direction of corporate strategy, this study finds that the company's situation is at the stage of growth and diversification. At this stage, XYZ needs to prioritize the target market according to its potential. In addition, this study also suggests XYZ to implement a diversification strategy in marketing activities. Finally, this study also uses the TOWS matrix as the main tool for developing marketing activities. In conclusion, this study proposes a strategy map, schedule, activity time and cost estimation as an implementation plan.

The thesis poses two fundamental questions based on current Colombian conditions, namely (1) can the Colombian biofuel industry produce bioethanol and biodiesel under sustainable guidelines; and (2) to what extent is it possible to expand energy crops for biofuels production purposes without jeopardizing sustainability goals? A sustainability approach based on recognized techniques such as Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) allows for a comprehensive social, economic and environmental analysis of the whole cradle–to–grave progress of the bioenergy value chain.

Information Systems at this time is needed by the company to survive in business competition with competitors. The information system must also be aligned with the vision and mission and business processes that exist in the company now days so company can generate profits (profitable) at the same time. PT. Hostingan Awan Indonesia is a web development product & service provider company with online transaction feature and purchase processes that integrated with mobile payments. To make business process run optimally, an information system is needed to archive every output document that produced by each division in the company. The process of collecting data in this paper through observation and direct interviews with several stakeholders in the company. This research used Ward & Peppard metho with internal value chain analysis, SWOT, PEST, Five Forces Porter and Mc Farlan Strategic Grid. This research also provides application portfolio recommendations with internal business environment analysis, external business environment analysis, internal SI environmental analysis and external SI environmental analysis.
