The role of information technology is very important for the progress of a company, by using information technology, strategic planning for the company's development will be better, some companies will definitely take advantage of information technology for the progress of their companies, this is also used for Toko baju Surabaya cabang Surakarta. This shop is a company engaged in the sale of clothing, this company uses the SmartConsole application to support sales. However, there are still sectors in this company that have not implemented an information system, one of which is in the section on stock data collection and payroll. Therefore, an appropriate IS / IT strategic planning is needed. This research was conducted using the Ward and Peppard method with SWOT analysis, Five Forces Porter, and McFarlan Strategic Grid. The output produced from this study is in the form of strategic recommendations from the results of the internal and external environmental analysis of the company's information system, as well as a proposal for an Information System to be mapped using the McFarlan Strategic Grid to be applied to companies in the next two years.

Hospital competition is getting tighter, making good hospital strategic planning very important so that the Hospital can survive to develop better in a changing environment. Today's competitive advantage cannot be separated from Information Systems (IS) and Information Technology (IT). IS / IT in hospitals is currently used as a tool to create and develop innovative products, systems, and services for hospitals. The problem that occurs today is a large number of IS / IT that is made without looking at the financial side of the Hospital, thus making a number of uses of IS / IT not optimal in Hospital operational and business activities. Based on these problems, IS / IT strategic planning that also considers financial capability is needed. In this research, IS/IT strategic planning that takes into account the financial aspects is achieved using the approach of Ward and Peppard combined with Cost-Benefit Analysis. Value Chain and Critical Success Factor (CSF) analysis methods are used to analyze the current internal condition of the Hospital. Meanwhile, PEST and Porter's Five Forces analysis used external business analysis of the Hospital. The results of this study are in the form of IS business strategy recommendations, IS/IT management strategies, IT strategies, IS application portfolios, and IS/IT investment roadmaps compiled based on costs and benefits. There are 25 IS strategy recommendations, the IT strategy recommends 14 proposals to support the IS strategy based on the cost-benefit, and the IS / IT management strategy recommendations consist of 16 suggestions to support the IS strategy and IT strategy.

In the current era, a development strategy is needed that can determine the success of all aspects of the business. If the company determines a strategy, problems will arise. In determining a business development strategy, it must be adjusted to the development of the current business situation, because even though the chosen strategy is very good, the situation and conditions are not supportive, then the strategy will fail. This study aims to develop IS / IT strategic planning in competing to increase pharmacy excellence, This research was conducted using the Ward and Peppard method and using the SWOT, Value Chain. The data taken are what factors can be strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, threats, and internal and external environmental analysis at the Kimia Farma Pharmacy Salatiga.

The Salatiga District Court Class 1B is a legal institution. Salatiga state courts used information systems in their business processes. The existence of an information system is a powerful weapon or tool in increasing the efficiency and effectiveness of business processes in agencies. However, the IS / IT in the Salatiga District Court has not worked optimally which causes the performance to be less effective so that it requires proper IS / IT strategic planning. This study uses the Ward and Peppard method with SWOT analysis techniques. The value chain will produce information system strategy recommendations for internal and external environmental analysis, and information system application recommendation. The purpose of this research is to provide recommendations for IS / IT-related problems through strategic planning of information systems to identify IS / IT in the Salatiga District Court and to analyze IS / IT that can be used in the future to achieve an effective and efficient performance.

At present business competition in Indonesia is getting tougher, including business competition in the field of wig making. PT Mono Jaya is one of the companies engaged in the production of wigs that are in Kroya, Cilacap district, Central Java. To increase competitiveness against its competitors, companies must be able to create new innovations and use information systems that are in accordance with the needs of the company as a support to improve performance, increase competitiveness against its competitors, and realize the company's goals. But to get an information system that fits the needs of the company, it requires an information system strategic planning. This study uses the Ward And Peppard method, the tools used are SWOT analysis, Value Chain analysis, McFarlan Strategic Grid analysis, Five Force Porter Model analysis, Critical Success Factor (CSF) analysis, and Balaced ScoreCard (BSC) analysis. The final results of this study are in the form of information system portfolio recommendations that are needed by PT Mono Jaya to improve the competitiveness of the company

Saat ini persaingan bisnis di Indonesia semakin ketat, termasuk persaingan bisnis dalam bidang pembuatan rambut palsu (wig). PT Mono Jaya merupakan salah satu perusahaan yang bergerak dalam bidang produksi rambut palsu yang berada di Kroya kabupaten Cilacap Jawa Tengah. Untuk meningkatkan daya saing terhadap para pesaingnya, perusahaan harus mampu membuat inovasi baru serta menggunakan sistem informasi yang sesuai dengan kebutuhan perusahaan sebagai pendukung untuk meningkatkan kinerja , meningkatkan daya saing terhadap para pesaingnya, serta mewujudkan tujuan perusahaan. Namun untuk mendapatkan sistem informasi yang sesuai dengan kebutuhan perusahaan, maka dibutuhkan suatu perencanaan strategis sistem informasi. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Ward And Peppard, alat bantu yang digunakan adalah analisis SWOT, analisis Value Chain, analisis McFarlan Strategic Grid, analisis Five Force Model Porter, analisis Critical Success Factor (CSF), dan analisis Balaced ScoreCard (BSC). Hasil akhir dari penelitian ini berupa rekomendasi portofolio sistem informasi yang dibutuhkan PT Mono Jaya guna meningkatkan daya saing perusahaan.

Although the purpose of strategic planning is straightforward - to outline where an organization wants to go and how it's going to get there - its nature is complex and dynamic. The, critical success factor (CSF) method, can augment strategic planning efforts by illuminating an organization's present situation and potential future. This chapter explores the value of enhancing typical strategic planning techniques with the CSF method and presents an integrated framework for helping modern organizations to understand the broad range of interrelated elements that influence strategy development for Information Technology (IT). The chapter synthesizes documented theory and research in strategic planning and CSFs. It also provides insights and lessons re the pros and cons of integrated strategic planning framework in the context of IT in modern organizations. Through in-depth literature review and contextual analysis, the chapter incorporates suggestions to modern organizations for IT Strategic Planning with CSF Approach for a holistic and effective strategic planning process.
