A borehole dilution method using fluoride in low concentrations as the tracer and an adapted, commercially available fluoride ion electrode to measure the tracer dilution has been developed and employed at two sites. The sites are shallow groundwater systems consisting of alluvial surficial gravels near Fort Macleod, Alberta, and glaciodeltaic sand deposits at the Chalk River Nuclear Laboratories, Ontario. Zones of relatively high groundwater velocities determined at Fort Macleod with the fluoride apparatus are also evident in the results of a large-scale tracer test that documented chloride profiles over the saturated gravel thickness from point samples at 0.3 m depth intervals. The performance of the fluoride electrode compared favorably with a radio tracer (131I) technique in a simultaneous dilution experiment at the Chalk River site. Other ion-selective electrodes such as the chloride electrode may provide an alternative sensor in areas where hydrochemical conditions may restrict the use of the fluoride electrode.

At present, test interpretation technology is still based on the rule and theory during 1960s-1980s, which wasn’t be developed and improved further in view of the new problems in field. The field practice and theory comparison have shown that these basic theory and interpretation model diverges obviously appropriate category, and have the singlet, unilateral problem of considered element, which can’t adapt to the quantification description of complex filtrate in porous medium. The basic theory and mathematic model of tracer test interpretation need to develop further, and interpretation means needs to improve corroboratively. From the point of numerical mathematics, the independent variables in reservoirs were found out and the objective function was constructed. Making use of improved real-number-style inheritance-arithmetic, the unitary parameters inversion and interpretation were accomplished in inter well tracer test.

The article raises the question of the actuality level of normative data. This kind of data is necessary to compare the results of experimental studies with it, according to the traditions of Russian psychology. It can be assumed that the social changes that took place in the last decades should reflect on the process of forming of thinking and other mental functions. A pilot study for identifying the features of performing of classical pathopsychological techniques by healthy subjects was conducted. The study involved mentally healthy and socially adapted people of 20-39 years old, graduated or undergraduated. We used next several techniques: "Classification of objects", "Pictogram", filling in words missed in the text (Ebbinghaus test), "Interpretation of proverbs". The results of the experiment made it possible to identify two areas in which the changes were most significant. These spheres are emotional-motivational (personality) and thinking. Many subjects were characterized by: a wary-anxious attitude to the experiment, increased emotional - personal attitude to the stimuli material, a decrease in criticality to the results of their activities, neurodynamic disorders, inconsistency of thinking, versatility of thinking, a tendency to resonate, self-centered thinking (according to the authors these features are manifested in the form of "pathopsychology of everyday life" in everyday lifestyle). It is necessary to conduct special large-scale scientific research devoted to this problem.
