Methodological and technical aspects as well as application and results of the precordial Xenon-residue-detection technique are critically reviewed. The results concern mainly normal flow in various regions of the heart esp. in the free wall of the right and left ventricle, poststenotic flow in patients with coronary artery disease in relation to the degree of proximal nar-rowings as well as wall motion of the corresponding LV segment, bypassgraft flow and flow after drug interventions esp. nitrates, betablockers, the calcium-antagonist Nifedipine and the coronary dilator Dipyridamole. In spite of its serious limitations (high affinity of Xenon for fatty tissue, geometrical problems in the assessment of flow and its relation to anatomy, gas exchange in situations of high flow etc.), the technique is found to be a usefull investigatory tool. Due to its technical display and the related high costs routine application is, however, prohibitive.

Excimer laser coronary atherectomy (ELCA) is a long-established adjunctive therapy that can be applied during percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI). Technical aspects have evolved and there is an established safety and efficacy record across a number of clinical indications in contemporary interventional practice where complex lesions are routinely encountered. The role of ELCA during PCI for thrombus, non-crossable or non-expandable lesions, chronic occlusions and stent under-expansion are discussed in this review. The key advantage of ELCA over alternative atherectomy interventions is delivery on a standard 0.014-inch guidewire. Additionally, the technique can be mastered by any operator after a short period of training. The major limitation is presence of heavy calcification although when rotational atherectomy (RA) is required but cannot be applied due to inability to deliver the dedicated RotaWire™ (Boston Scientific), ELCA can create an upstream channel to permit RotaWire passage and complete the case with RA – the RASER technique.

Research on the utilization of bamboo as a raw material layer interior products have been made. This research aims to determine the nature of plybamboo in terms of technical aspects / processes of manufacture, physical and mechanical, the influence of weight variation labur adhesive, adhesive types and kinds of bamboo products plybamboo. This type of bamboo used is sweet bamboo (Gigantochloa atter Kurz) and bamboo lear (Gigantochloa apus Kurz). The adhesive used was adhesive Polyvinil Acetat (PVAc) and Chloroprene with adhesive labur weight each - each 150 gr/m2, 200 gr/m2 and 250 gr/m2. The parameters tested were water content, density, flexural strength of dry and delamination. The results showed that the treatment using bamboo material with adhesive Chloroprene sweet heavy labur 250 gr/m2 produce the best plybamboo. Keywords: bamboo, glue, physical, mechanical

Abstract One of the more important elements of spatial information infrastructure is the organisational structure defining the obligations and dependencies between stakeholders that are responsible for the infrastructure. Many SDI practitioners and theoreticians emphasise that its influence on the success or failure of activities undertaken is significantly greater than that of technical aspects. Being aware of the role of the organisational structure in the creating, operating and maintenance of spatial information infrastructure (SII), Polish legislators placed appropriate regulations in the Spatial Information Infrastructure Act, being the transposition of the INSPIRE Directive into Polish Law. The principal spatial information infrastructure stakeholders are discussed in the article and also the scope of cooperation between them. The tasks and relationships between stakeholders are illustrated in UML, in both the use case and the class diagram. Mentioned also are the main problems and obstructions resulting from imprecise legal regulations.
