Abstract Logistics service quality (LSQ) is one of the key influential factors in the success of an ecommerce business. In view of the complexity of the topic, this paper proposes a novel model for fresh ecommerce cold chain LSQ evaluation based on the catastrophe progression method. In the proposed methodology, first an index system for evaluating the fresh ecommerce cold chain LSQ is established from the perspective of service recipients. Then, the comprehensive weight of each evaluation index is determined using a combination weighting approach based on maximizing deviations and fuzzy set theory. The priority weights and the ranking of the indices are determined using the catastrophe progression method. Finally, the model is applied in a case study of two representative enterprises. The study demonstrates the validity and practical applicability of the proposed model. Also, based on the evaluation results and findings, some improvement suggestions are made for improving the cold chain LSQ of similar kinds of fresh ecommerce companies.

This paper aims to measure the quality of the services delivered by a court by assessing the satisfaction of court users and service providers, i.e., magistrates and court officials. For that purpose, a case study was carried out and data were collected by means of a questionnaire based on the SERVPERF instrument, in which perceived service quality is measured, considering court users, magistrates, and court officials’ perceptions of post-service performance. One hundred and fifty-eight questionnaires were successfully returned. An in-depth interview was later conducted to the court administrator to gain a richer understanding of the results achieved and ask follow-up questions. Overall, findings revealed that court users, magistrates, and court officials clearly have a positive view of the services provided, although improvement is needed, particularly in the court’s facilities and technological equipment. The current research sheds some light on the potentialities and difficulties of assessing service quality in the judiciary and contributes to the validation of the SERVPERF instrument in this context.

This paper explores the difficulties of building a service-oriented government by taking the evaluation results of public service satisfaction of Guizhou province in 2019 as an example. This paper finds that building a service-oriented government is the process of improving the quality of public service in an all-round way. With the steady improvement of the public service quality in China, the public’s expectation of the public service quality has been improved by changing from the original “yes or no” to the current “good or not”. In order to speed up the construction of service-oriented government, government departments should pay attention to the change of public demand and take the comfort, richness and transparency of public service as the key points of quality improvement.

With the development of e-commerce, online shopping for agricultural products has been more popular. And how to improve consumer's satisfaction has become more important. Literature review shows that few researches on online purchasing agricultural food focus on the consumers' satisfaction. This article designs a questionnaire, including 20 factors based on agricultural product characteristics, website quality and service quality to evaluate consumers' satisfaction. The evaluation shows that service quality, agricultural products' safety, brand and website quality significantly impact consumer satisfaction. Moreover, service quality is the most important factor. Finally, some recommendations are made in this article to develop cold chain logistics system, strictly control the agricultural products quality, build an agricultural products brand, improve the quality of agricultural product websites and strengthen policy control and guidance.

Cloud computing is a technological advancement that provides services in the form of utility on a pay-per-use basis. As the cloud market is expanding, numerous service providers are joining the cloud platform with their services. This creates an indecision amongst the users to choose an appropriate service provider especially when the cloud provider provisions diverse type of virtual machines. The problem becomes more challenging when the user has different jobs requiring specific quality of service. To address the aforementioned problem, this article applies a hybrid heuristic using College Admission Problem and Analytical Hierarchical Process for stable matching of the users' job with the cloud's virtual machines. The case study depicts the effectiveness of the proposed model.
