In this page, combination of finite element numerical simulation and discrete element numerical simulation is used to study the stress - deformation characteristics of rock mass of power transmission project site,whichclarifies the rock mass stress is mainly controlled by thegravitational field,the form of the potential deformationis dominated by compression deformation,andthere is no possibility of occurrence of the horizontal shear deformation.

According to the huge losses of people’s life and property caused by coal rockburst, we make numberical simulational research on coal deep buried roadway fault rock burst which is based on the related fators about the occurrence of fault rockburst. Simulation results show that,the stress in fault is the most significant,and with its continuously accumulation ,if it is up to the ultimate strength of coal and rock mass,which will occurre rib spalling, and even it will bring the accumulated elastic energy out ,then induced by fault rockburst. So simulation results are of guiding significance to the occurrence mechanism and predict of coal roadway fault rockburst.

The top-coal caving mining recovery rate is one of the important indexes of evaluating mining technical measures. This paper, by using the similar model and numerical simulation on the experimental analysis, fully integrates the advantages of numerical simulation and similarity simulation to simulate the rock mass deformation and stress rules in the two-slot mining process , and provides a strong theoretical basis for finding the technology of improving recovery rate of the comprehensive mechanized caving mining.
