The world energy industry today is at a new stage of development, which is characterized by the strengthening of integration processes, the development of new technologies in the field of extraction and production of energy resources. The energy sector of Kazakhstan was designed with the understanding that it was part of the energy sector of the Soviet Union. Today Kazakhstan follows international development trends in the field of energy. To make a reliable forecast of the Kazakhstani energy sector, it is necessary to look at the global processes in the development of the world energy industry. There are several organizations that have this information. These are the International Energy Agency (IEA), the UN, the World Bank, large-scale international companies, etc. In forecasting energy consumption in Kazakhstan, as part of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU), it is important to look at the forecasts for the EAEU member countries. This article provides basic information on forecasting the growth of electricity consumption in the world and in Kazakhstan, based on various sources. It also provides a comparative analysis of the use of various sources of electrical energy. A detailed analysis of the energy sector of Kazakhstan and the prospects for the use of renewable energy in Kazakhstan are considered.

To realize the modernization of the national economy, it is necessary to develop energy science and technology for China,which is third largest countries in the world.The rapid development of science and technology has promoted the continuous transformation of the global energy industry. With the advancement in technology and the need for development by both developed and developing countries, energy plays a vital role in the whole process of sustainability. India’s security score has been declining since 2000 due to decrease in energy storing capacity, scarcity in primary energy supply sources and to much dependency on import. The World Energy Council’s latest Energy Trilemma Index covering 128 countries shows how energy policies are changing around the world. India’s energy policies and infrastructure are rated among the worst in the world with 109th rank with overall score of 50.3. India scores high on Energy Security but struggles on sustainability and equity indicators giving clear indication on revisiting ECBC 2017. This paper reviews and compares ECMs between two versions of the code titled ECBC 2007 and ECBC 2017 and identify the role of human behavior as a missing link. В статье выделены специфичные черты угольной отрасли, ее значение для России и мира, проанализированы основные проблемы добычи и использования угля, рассмотрены различные сценарии развития мировой энергетики, раскрыты возможные перспективы и направления развития мировой угольной отрасли, а также место российского угля на рынке углеводородного сырья. Цель статьи заключается в определении перспектив развития угольной промышленности России на основе анализа мировых тенденций, сложившихся на рынке угля. Элементы научной новизны заключаются в определении перспектив российского угля на мировом рынке на основе обобщения данных мировой статистики, прогнозов развития мирового энергетического рынка и текущей ситуации в угольной отрасли России. The article highlights the specific features of the coal industry, its importance for Russia and the world, analyzes the main problems of coal mining, considers various scenarios for the development of the world energy industry, reveals possible prospects and directions for the development of the global coal industry and the place of Russian coal in the hydrocarbon market. The purpose of the article is to determine the prospects for the development of the coal industry in Russia based on the analysis of global trends in the coal market. The elements of scientific novelty consist in determining the prospects of Russian coal on the world market based on the generalization of world statistics, forecasts of the development of the energy market and the current situation in the coal industry in Russia.
