Multi-phase Interpolation Filters are used widely in wireless communication. Based on the requirements of a high data rate satellite modem, this paper analyses the basic design principle of a multi-phase interpolation filter. A new design scheme of multi-phase interpolation filter is presented and implemented with VHDL TOP-DOWN method on FPGA. Finally, part simulation and application test results are given.

This thesis introduces design principle, methods and composition of a new test device for carbon dioxide absorbents as energy materials based on pressure sensor and temperature sensor. The error of the test device is analyzed. The results show that the error of the device is acceptable after correcting, the error can be ignored. The test results are reliable.

The mechanical simulation instrument of flight simulator can meet the display visual error specified by the new regulations. By studying the working principle of the flight simulator mechanical simulation instrument, it can be seen that the mechanical simulation instrument can be quickly converted into other instruments of the same series by changing the dial. Taking the oxygen pressure indicating instrument of flight simulator as an example, this paper introduces the design principle, design circuit diagram, design angle calculation and software architecture of the instrument. It was installed on the CJ1 flight simulator for transmission delay testing. Test results show that the simulation instrument can fully meet the regulatory requirements

There are many kinds of ADC chips which are analog or analog-digital mixed at home and abroad. It can not be integrated into a pure digital chip, in this paper, a way to realize quasi-digital 16- bit ADC based on stochastic logic was given. Except few analog elements, all are digital circuits. The paper describes the design principle and presents the simulation and hardware test results based on FPGA chips produced by Altera show that the shortest conversion time can reach 0.8ms. The hardware test shows that the design is successful.

For investigation of wide use of drop tube furnace (DTF), the design and characterization of DTF and shaftless screw microfeeder are presented. With a developed group combustion model, a introduced non-dimensional number is to characterize the combustion zone of coal particles in DTF. Calculated relation is proposed to be operation criteria of DTF and design principle of feeder. It is found that the test results of coal feeder show good performance for micro feeding.

This study explored whether or not standard administration and scoring of conventional articulation tests accurately identified children as phonologically disordered and whether or not information from these tests established severity level and programming needs. Results of standard scoring procedures from the Assessment of Phonological Processes-Revised, the Goldman-Fristoe Test of Articulation, the Photo Articulation Test, and the Weiss Comprehensive Articulation Test were compared for 20 phonologically impaired children. All tests identified the children as phonologically delayed/disordered, but the conventional tests failed to clearly and consistently differentiate varying severity levels. Conventional test results also showed limitations in error sensitivity, ease of computation for scoring procedures, and implications for remediation programming. The use of some type of rule-based analysis for phonologically impaired children is highly recommended.

Purpose Motion sickness (MS) is a common condition that affects millions of individuals. Although the condition is common and can be debilitating, little research has focused on the vestibular function associated with susceptibility to MS. One causal theory of MS is an asymmetry of vestibular function within or between ears. The purposes of this study, therefore, were (a) to determine if the vestibular system (oculomotor and caloric tests) in videonystagmography (VNG) is associated with susceptibility to MS and (b) to determine if these tests support the theory of an asymmetry between ears associated with MS susceptibility. Method VNG was used to measure oculomotor and caloric responses. Fifty young adults were recruited; 50 completed the oculomotor tests, and 31 completed the four caloric irrigations. MS susceptibility was evaluated with the Motion Sickness Susceptibility Questionnaire–Short Form; in this study, percent susceptibility ranged from 0% to 100% in the participants. Participants were divided into three susceptibility groups (Low, Mid, and High). Repeated-measures analyses of variance and pairwise comparisons determined significance among the groups on the VNG test results. Results Oculomotor test results revealed no significant differences among the MS susceptibility groups. Caloric stimuli elicited responses that were correlated positively with susceptibility to MS. Slow-phase velocity was slowest in the Low MS group compared to the Mid and High groups. There was no significant asymmetry between ears in any of the groups. Conclusions MS susceptibility was significantly and positively correlated with caloric slow-phase velocity. Although asymmetries between ears are purported to be associated with MS, asymmetries were not evident. Susceptibility to MS may contribute to interindividual variability of caloric responses within the normal range.
