The paper proposes a new design of high-accuracy On-line Metal Thickness Measuring Instrument, which was based on EP2C20 series FPGA chip, through adding NiosII soft processor and other interfaces to FPGA, equipped with high precision data collection system and TFT LCD module and so on. The key hardware blocks schematics and components of the RC Oscillation Circuit,eddy current sensor Circuit,rectifier and filter Circuit,A/D converting circuit,FPGA Circuit are described,software flow charts and sample codes are given. According to practice, The measurement range of this system is 1~100 mm and the resolving power is 0.1 μm. degree of linearity is 1%, The system has many features including small volume of hardware, low cost, high detecting precision, convenient operating, high intelligent and so on, leading to broad and bright future. The study aims to develop an effective, efficient, and reliable method using Fourier Transform Infrared (FTIR) spectroscopy with Attenuated Total Reflection (ATR) combined with chemometric for identifying the synthetic drug in Indonesian herbal medicine known as Jamu. Jamu powders, Metamizole, and the binary mixture of Jamu and Metamizole were measured using FTIR-ATR at the mid-infrared region (4000-650 cm-1). The obtained spectra profiles were further analyzed by Principal Component Analysis, Partial Least Square Regression, Principal Component Regression, and Discriminant Analysis. Jamu Pegel Linu (JPL), Jamu Encok (JE), Jamu Sakit Pinggang (JSP), Metamizole (M), and adulterated Jamu by Metamizole were discriminated well on PCA score plot. PLSR and PCR showed the accuracy and precision data to quantify JPL, JE, and JSP, and each adulterated by M with R2 value > 0,995 and low value of RMSEC and RMSEP. Discriminant Analysis (DA) was successfully grouping Jamu and Metamizole without any misclassification. A combination of FTIR spectroscopy and chemometrics offered useful tools for detecting Metamizole in traditional herbal medicine.

NC machines are more and more widely used in manufacturing industry. As the key equipments in the factory, NC machines should be closely monitored to avoid faults. Therefore, the research on multi-function diagnosis based on BP-SOM is discussed for NC machine in the paper. Taking the precision data as the basic data for diagnosis, the research used BP and SOM algorithms to build up diagnosis models. As a result, the research has accomplished the diagnosing process and acquires good simulation output, which resembles with the real fact.

The data detector for future wireless system needs to achieve high throughput and low bit error rate (BER) with low computational complexity. In this paper, we propose a deep neural networks (DNNs) learning aided iterative detection algorithm. We first propose a convex optimization-based method for calculating the efficient detection of iterative soft output data, and then propose a method for adjusting the iteration parameters using the powerful data driven by DNNs, which achieves fast convergence and strong robustness. The results show that the proposed method can achieve the same performance as the known algorithm at a lower computation complexity cost.
