The “hot exciton” material TPPI-BZPCN is successfully achieved by fine-tuning the T1 features of acceptor. The non-doped device based on TPPI-BZPCN exhibits a maximum EQE of 3.33%, and remains 3.03% at a high luminescence of 10 000 cd m−2.
