Recently, high performance lead-free piezoelectric materials are strongly demanded for environmental issues. (K0.5Na0.5)NbO3 (KNN) has been attracting interest as lead-free piezoelectric ceramics because of its high Curie temperature and excellent piezoelectric properties. In this study, we investigated effects of Li addition on piezoelectric properties of (Li,Na,K)(Nb+Ta)O3+CuO,BaTiO3 . We found that optimum Li ratio of A site and B site on the perovskite structure increases relative density and .

The Bi0.5(Na1-xKx)0.5-yBaTiO3(BNK-BT) lead-free ceramics have been prepared by the solild reactive sintering method. XRD patterns show the BNK-BT ceramics had a perovskite structure. Piezoelectric and dielectric properties of the ceramics also have been studied. The results show that the samples had the best piezoelectric and dielectric properties when x=0.20, y=0.10. And the maximum of d33is 149 pC/N, while the relative dielectric constant is 1087.

Lead-free (1-x-y)Na1/2Bi1/2TiO3-xBaTiO3-yBiFeO3 ceramics were synthesized by ordinary sintering technique. The compositional dependence of phase structure and electrical properties of the ceramics was systematically investigated. All samples possessed pure perovskite structure. The dielectric and piezoelectric properties of ceramics were investigated with the amount of different BiFeO3 substitutions. The addition of BiFeO3 can not only decrease Ec and Pr but also lead to a significant degradation of the dielectric loss tanδ.
