The article presents the architecture and implementation of a street traffic monitoring system. It uses RFID identifiers to recognize vehicles, including special meaning, such as ambulances, city buses, vehicles with reduced exhaust gas emissions. Traffic data is sent to the IoT Hub service in the Azure cloud. On their basis, road situations are analyzed and decisions are made regarding traffic control. Control information is fed back to traffic control devices by means of street lights, barriers, information boards. The article describes the method of communication with the computing cloud and the possibilities of implementing traffic monitoring and control algorithms using IoT Hub.

Bolted joints are one of the most used machine elements. Holding together structures of all sizes, the integrity rests on their shoulders. Thus, an accurate and reliable assembly of the joint is crucial. While it is the aim to not experience friction-induced vibrations at all, at some situations, it is unavoidable. These cases, however, have yet been out of the focus of control algorithms due to the volatile nature of the process. This contribution delivers analytical and experimental results for the occurrence of friction-induced vibrations during tightening of bolted joints. Previous findings of system characteristic constants could be validated, which can be used to monitor the tightening process even while strong vibrations during the tightening process occur. Additionally, a real-time algorithm is presented which allows for an advanced process monitoring and control by identifying process characteristics based on which predictions of the process can be made. These measures significantly improve the capabilities to reach the target values of the tightening process.

Smart enterprise is an observing, controlling and investigating carrier which incorporates wireless transmission generation and electronic sensor innovation. It permits the client to get the overall scope of services, the opportunity for continuous monitoring and automated controlling of industrial environment.  This paper was advanced to provide internet based totally smoke and temperature and security tracking. This device is allowed to track the facts every time & everywhere from the source of the internet whenever we login into internet. This paper also concludes that person can set restriction for above parameters & if these parameters cross beyond that cost, it's going to activate the devices. As a part of its alarm gadget, it'll play the recorded sounds: “intruder” or “smoke detected” when there may be a detection. The credit score card size Raspberry Pi (RPI) with Open source pc vision (OpenCV) software program handles the photo processing, control algorithms for the alarms and sends captured snap shots to consumer’s e mail through wireless. In this project Raspberry Pi3B+ is used.

Personal computers (PCs) are a powerful resource in the EM Laboratory, both as a means of automating the monitoring and control of microscopes, and as a tool for quantifying the interpretation of data. Not only is a PC more versatile than a piece of dedicated data logging equipment, but it is also substantially cheaper. In this tutorial the practical principles of using a PC for these types of activities will be discussed. The PC can form the basis of a system to measure, display, record and store the many parameters which characterize the operational conditions of the EM. In this mode it is operating as a data logger. The necessary first step is to find a suitable source from which to measure each of the items of interest. It is usually possible to do this without having to make permanent corrections or modifications to the EM.
