The subject of this paper is an analysis of the impact of the crisis caused by coronavirus on business decisions of issuers whose shares are listed on the Banja Luka Stock Exchange, through the example of dividend payment decisions. For the purpose of determining the factual situation, we observed publicly available financial reports of all companies that paid dividends from profits for 2018 and 2019 and made a comparison of profit retention rates in the two observed periods. We also analyzed other available information on the operations of these issuers. The research results show that in 10 out of 16 cases in which there was dividend payment from profits for 2019, the rate of profit retention increased compared to 2018. In addition to the mentioned 16 cases of dividend payment from the profit for the previous year, two cases were recorded in which dividend payment was made, but from the accumulated profit of previous years, so that the retention rate was not calculated for these issuers. If we take into account the fact that, in almost all cases, the decision on the (non-)payment of dividends was made at a time when uncertainties regarding coronavirus were already present in Republika Srpska, it can be concluded that the impending crisis had an impact on 2019 net results distribution decisions.

“Ljudski rod ne mrzi toliko one koji čine zlo, ni samo zlo, koliko onog ko imenuje zlo.”Writer Radmila Karlaš lives and works in Banja Luka, the political and economic center of Bosnia and Herzegovina's (BiH) entity Republika Srpska (RS). Four years ago, Radmila left journalism because, in her own words, journalism had been “reduced to serve only the centers of power in BiH.” Since then she has published two novels,Four Leaf CloverandThe Silence of Mestizos. Both works deal with the direct experience of war in BiH, with the phenomenon of evil in human nature, and attempt to demystify the process that has led her homeland into the situation in which it now finds itself. The novels also analyze the war crimes committed against the non-Serb population in Radmila's hometown, Banjaluka, and in Prijedor, a town in the northern-western part of BiH.

In order to validate the research instrument used to identify student perceptions of the quality of service provided by higher education institutions in the Republika Srpska-(Pan-European Apeiron University in Banja Luka, University of Banja Luka, University of East Sarajevo, Prijedor College of Medicine and University of Business Studies Banja Luka) (within a broader empirical study), its metric characteristics were determined. In our study, respondents expressed their estimation by choosing one of the positions on a five-point Likert scale. The numerical values of the ordinal scale arranged in this way corresponded to the intensity of the assessment of thirty service indicators, namely: 1 (much less than my expectations); 2 (less than my expectations); 3 (according to my expectations); 4 (more than my expectations); 5 (significantly more than my expectations). The value evaluation of the response is interpreted in accordance with the rule: (a) the perception of the quality of service “as expected” (if the scalar average is close to the quantitative value of three), (b) the perception of the quality of the service “below expectations” (when the scalar average is well below quantitative values of three), (c) perception of service quality “above expectations” (if it is a scalar average well above quantitative value of three) (Klarić & Kulišan, 2011). Also, in order to rank the importance of indicators, in manifest space, values of scalar averages (Mean) are used in interpretation (Nešić et al., 2017).The questionnaire, based on the HEDUQUAL scale, was tested using two procedures: (1) factor analysis (Principal Components Analysis, Direct Oblimin) and (2) Scale Reliability Analysis - based on Cronbach’s alpha coefficient). The sample of respondents consisted of a population of students attending one of the higher education institutions in the Republika Srpska, a total of 863 students (M = 265; F = 598) with an average age of 21.5 years. The results obtained confirm the good metric of the scale, both in terms of validity (KMO = 0.972; Bartlett’s Test of Sphericity = 14292.613; Sig. = 0.000) and in the context of its reliability (Cronbach’s Alpha = 0.966). All statistical inferences were conducted at a significance level of 0.05 (Sig. <, 05). The good metric characteristics of the instrument defined the quality basis for further analytical observations of the study results.Based on good metric characteristics obtained in this part of the study (whose task was to validate the survey questionnaire), it is reasonable to expect that, in continuing the analytical examination of the empirical results of the study, the research conclusions can be reasonably based on accurate and academically correct statistical background. Which is a prerequisite for the correct dissemination of the information obtained and, accordingly, a scientifically correct interpretation of the overall results of the study.

U okviru ovog rada ispitivana je mogućnost uzgoja i izvršena uporedna analizasvojstava različitih sorti lana uzgojenih u toku jedne godine u nizinskom kontinentalnompodručju u okolini grada Banja Luka (Republika Srpska, Bosna i Hercegovina).

Some intestinal nematodes of dogs and cats show zoonotic potential, and therefore theyare of public-health significance. In the territory of the city of Banja Luka, 149 samples wereexamined (131 of dogs and 18 cats), with 40 samples of dog feces collected from two public areasin the city. Parasitological examination (saturated zinc sulfate floatation and determination of larvaeand adult parasites in feces) resulted in the following data: Toxocara canis (9.16%),Ancylostomatidae (5.34%), Trichuris vulpis (7.63%), Toxascaris leonina (1.52%), Toxocara cati(33.3%), Trichuris spp. (5.5%) and Hydatigera taeniaeformis (5.5%). On the basis of the obtainedresults we can conclude that the intestinal nematodes are more widespread than is generallyassumed and therefore represent a health problem for dogs and cats in the territory of Banja Luka.

Penalties for all modern criminal legislation are particularly regarded as fines for deprivation of liberty of various modalities - imprisonment, long-term imprisonment, juvenile imprisonment or life imprisonment. These are very often applied, special penalties that consist of depriving the perpetrator of the freedom of movement for the perpetrator of a criminal offense in a court decision for a certain time and its placement in a special institution or penitentiary institution from the system of these institutions of a particular state. Similarly with Republika Srpska, whose latest criminal legislation (primarily the Criminal Code of the Republic of Srpska of 2017) provides for two separate fines for deprivation of liberty - imprisonment and long-term imprisonment. It is precisely these two special, independent penalties and their application, with fines, in the practice of the District Court in Banja Luka (or its departments: the Criminal-Misdemeanor and the Special Department for the Suppression of Corruption, the Organized and the Toughest Forms of Economic Crime) there will be words in this paper.
