Accidents might happen anywhere, anytime, and to anyone. Primary school education is a period when children get very active in interacting with other peers. The interaction during a game might cause a risk of injuries on primary school students. Children often ignore the health condition of each other during the interaction. They have yet to own the analytical ability to identify if their friends conceive dangerous diseases, such as congenital heart disease, asthma, or other diseases. Free game interactions among primary school students such as running during the break or physically-related games might increase the risk for accidents or injuries within the school environment. Teachers are the closest people when children are at school. Teachers are demanded to have knowledge and skills in providing the first aid for their students who possibly experience accidents, injuries, or dangerous conditions, such as stopped breathing and cardiac arrest, which might happen during the school hours. The required skills are splinter dressing and/or basic life support. This activity aimed to improve the knowledge and skill of primary school teachers in providing first aid and for them to be capable of performing the basic life support. Coaching and counselling of Basic Life Support as well as splinter dressing were the conducted method. The result acquired from this community service showed that the good level of knowledge before the first aid counselling activity was 19.5%, which increased to 90.2% after the counselling activity. This study concluded that the knowledge of Primary School Teachers in Depok District of Sleman-Yogyakarta regarding First Aid has increased. Keywords: Accidents, Aid, First, Primary, School, Training,

Primary education is globally recognized as the foundation laying stage of education.Over the past few decades, researchers have devoted interest to the differences in reasoning, problem-solving, and perception that underlie cognitive style. Numerous researchers have also attributed the differences in cognitive style to various social, cultural, psychological, and demographic factors. However, the purpose of the present study is to examine school location as an environmental factor that could predict childrens cognitive styles. Sixty-four primary school students drawn from primary schools in rural and urban communities in the Kogi state participated in the study. The Group Embedded Figure Test (GEFT) was used for data collection. The result of the study revealed that the school location significantly predicted field independent/dependent cognitive style. Thus, the study concluded that the school environment is a positive determinant of adopted cognitive style.

The article substantiates the relevance of the problem and the consequences of the popularity of modern gadgets (smartphones, laptops, smart TVs, game consoles, health trackers, smart watches, webcams, iPads and tablets, earphones) among primary school students during and beyond the educational process. The author lists the advantages of using innovative digital technologies in the classroom for both the student and the teacher: considerable interest and motivation for learning activities, better opportunities for implementation of the individual learning principle, formation and improvement of necessary life skills and competences, etc. The author presents the results of a survey conducted with HEI academic staff regarding their attitude to the problem and their awareness of the most effective gadgets for the enhancement of educational process. The study also proves the failings of the uncontrolled use of modern technologies among younger students, which has apparently become one of the major reasons for the spread of cyberbullying and aggression in the school environment. The purpose of this paper is to draw attention to this issue and to suggest some ways of addressing it in four stages: family and friends, school, local community and regional-national level, characterized by specific procedures and actions. Among the results of the study, there is an increase in the number of scientific publications, both domestic and foreign, which shows the considerable interest among scientists and the urgent need in the context of searching ways of preventing and combatting cyberbullying among primary school students.

The article examines the influence of kindergarten education on primary school students' success in the students' parents' assessments. The research relevance is explained by the need to comprehend the family factor in the educational process at the early stages of personality development. The following issues are discussed: family ideas about primary school student educational success, the relationship between school choice and kindergarten attendance, parental involvement in kindergarten, and primary school education of children. In the study's empirical part, 40 informal interviews were conducted with informants whose children studied in public and private kindergartens. The author presents a parental assessments comparative analysis of kindergarten education effectiveness. When studying the interviews, Russian computer programs for processing unstructured texts were used. It was found that the majority of parents believe that kindergarten education has a positive impact on the child's school success in primary grades. Parents who have sent their children to a private kindergarten rate the education benefits they receive most highly. The main criteria for the primary school student's success in the family are the child's academic performance. Among other indicators of success, the interviewed parents named friendship with classmates, respect for the first teacher, work in study clubs, participation in an intellectual academic competition, and a child's good mood for attending classes. No connection was found between school choice and the preschool education type. The school choice is influenced by the parental involvement style in the child's education in the early educational socialization stages: mentoring or liberal. It turned out that families whose children attended a public kindergarten tended to be mentoring behavior, as opposed to a more liberal attitude towards the children education of parents who chose a private kindergarten. The prospect of the study is to expand the empirical base of the project and include in the sample informants who choose to homeschool their children.
