The article examines the influence of kindergarten education on primary school students' success in the students' parents' assessments. The research relevance is explained by the need to comprehend the family factor in the educational process at the early stages of personality development. The following issues are discussed: family ideas about primary school student educational success, the relationship between school choice and kindergarten attendance, parental involvement in kindergarten, and primary school education of children. In the study's empirical part, 40 informal interviews were conducted with informants whose children studied in public and private kindergartens. The author presents a parental assessments comparative analysis of kindergarten education effectiveness. When studying the interviews, Russian computer programs for processing unstructured texts were used. It was found that the majority of parents believe that kindergarten education has a positive impact on the child's school success in primary grades. Parents who have sent their children to a private kindergarten rate the education benefits they receive most highly. The main criteria for the primary school student's success in the family are the child's academic performance. Among other indicators of success, the interviewed parents named friendship with classmates, respect for the first teacher, work in study clubs, participation in an intellectual academic competition, and a child's good mood for attending classes. No connection was found between school choice and the preschool education type. The school choice is influenced by the parental involvement style in the child's education in the early educational socialization stages: mentoring or liberal. It turned out that families whose children attended a public kindergarten tended to be mentoring behavior, as opposed to a more liberal attitude towards the children education of parents who chose a private kindergarten. The prospect of the study is to expand the empirical base of the project and include in the sample informants who choose to homeschool their children.

The article identifies and characterizes the features of environmental upbringing of primary school students and the preparation of teachers for its implementation as a pedagogical problem of today. The authors research scientific papers on the peculiarities of environmental upbringing of primary school students and teacher training, as well as describe ways to achieve the goal of environmental upbringing in the case of solving a set of interrelated tasks that have educational, upbringing, and value components. Environmental upbringing is one of the priority areas in the general system of education, aimed at the harmonious development of man, his civic consciousness. Therefore, it cannot be considered as a separate form of education. Although, of course, the relevance and specificity of environmental upbringing encourage us to perceive it as one of the important areas of the overall educational process. In the scientific and pedagogical literature, environmental upbringing and upbringing are interpreted as a psychological and pedagogical process of human impact in order to form knowledge of the scientific foundations of nature, the necessary beliefs and practical skills, a certain orientation and active social position in environmental protection, environmental management and reproduction of natural resources. Modern theory and methods of vocational education offers a concept of philosophical and psychological-pedagogical foundations of the process of professional environmental upbringing of future primary school teachers, emphasizing the role of methods and technologies by which it is possible to implement the content of environmental upbringing, implementing the highest ideals and standards of ecological educated personality of the teacher. The authors argue that the actualization of the tasks of preparing future primary school teachers for environmental upbringing of primary school students is due to modern socio-cultural circumstances, which allows the formation of environmentally educated personalities capable of self-application of environmental knowledge and skills. Key words: environmental upbringing, primary school student, teacher training.

The problems of professional orientation of children of primary school age are considered. For the introduction to the course of the studied problems, various views and approaches to the definition of the concept of “career guidance” and its components are described. The results of studying the level of knowledge about the professions of primary school students in St. Petersburg are presented. It is determined that the semantic content of the concept of “profession” for students is abstract and unclear, and also the lack of awareness of children in general about the world of professions is established. To obtain reliable and complete information, the results of the responses to the questionnaires of primary school students and their parents are compared. Based on the obtained research data, it is concluded that it is difficult for the participants of the experiment – younger schoolchildren to imagine themselves in the professional future. Attention is focused on the need to improve and systematize the work on the formation of complete knowledge of primary school students about professions through the implementation of an appropriate program in the course of primary school education. This program, based on the full interaction of adults and children, is focused not only on expanding children’s knowledge about the world of professions, but also fully taking into account their motives and interests, which ultimately can affect the quality of the educational process.

The article proves the possibility of forming the ability to understand music by primary school students. The influence of program works of the school program on the perception and understanding of music of different genres is proved by concrete examples. The educational influence of works of musical art on the formation of the artistic and emotional sphere of personality is proved. The formation of the ability to understand works of music by primary school students occurs in a certain sequence based on teacher-student interaction, both in music lessons and during extracurricular work on artistic and aesthetic education of primary school children. The collective type of creativity, inherent in the assimilation of the values of musical art, obliges the subjects of the educational process to comply with certain requirements for the organization of joint activities. In accordance with modern music-pedagogical technologies, which enable the effectiveness of the learning process, there are certain requirements for the perception of works of music of different genres and compositional styles provided by the school curriculum. Thus, the quality of the impact of music on primary school students depends on certain factors. Because, according to the school curriculum, music lessons are united by a common theme, which makes it possible to organize work with children in such a way as to give first-graders the opportunity to talk about their favorite music. To do this, prepare and ask the class a few questions, such as: remember what songs you sang or heard from radio and television programs that focused your attention and you liked ?; what song do you dream to sing ?; what dance music do you like Such a conversation should take place in a friendly atmosphere, and children's responses should be supported and evaluated positively. The teacher's tolerant attitude to any thoughts, feelings and expressions of students gives the child confidence in their own abilities, determination and activity in further work.

The educational process in a modern primary school involves a change in the position of the student: from the object of study they become active subjects of educational activities, which requires the activation of their self-organization. At the same time, the essence and purpose of education is not in the scholastic increase of information, but in the information support of the constant development of an individual. This problem is especially relevant in the context of distance learning in the New Ukrainian School (NUS), so increasingly popular are learning technologies aimed at enhancing the educational and cognitive activities of students and forming their readiness for independent work. Life in modern society requires that an individual develops the qualities of autonomy and organization: independence, initiative, ability to think creatively, etc. These qualities are considered as components of a single process of self-organization of an individual. Synergetic can be interpreted as a methodological basis for educational, prognostic, organizational and didactic-managerial educational activities. We characterize synergetic as an opportunity to solve problems of education in accordance with modern challenges. Despite numerous studies, the problem of implementing a synergetic approach in the formation of skills of self-organization of educational activities of primary school students remains open. The article describes the synergetic approach as a methodological basis of the theory of self-organization of educational activities of junior schoolchildren. The research of scientists in the field of synergetic, namely the transformation of its ideas in pedagogy as a basic idea of the theory of self-organization of educational activities of primary school students, analyzes the key ideas and positions of synergetic through the prism of interpretation of the educational process. The explication of the problem is carried out in the context of the analysis of the pedagogical system of primary school. The study presents the features of the synergetic approach in the first grade school. The essence of the synergetic approach as an interdisciplinary direction of cognition is considered. It is established that the synergetic approach allows to form self-organization of educational activity. It has been studied that the educational process in primary school can also be considered an open system, as it carries out a continuous process of exchange of information (knowledge) between teacher and students (feedback), and constantly changing the content of education according to society as a whole. The content of educational and cognitive activities during the formation of skills of self-organization of primary school students from the point of view of synergetic approach is revealed. The main regularities of the process of teaching junior schoolchildren as an open and complex system and a complex of multicomponent, interdisciplinary and multilevel knowledge are outlined, providing an opportunity to identify the main areas of synergetic ideas in the educational process. It is concluded that the implementation of a synergetic approach to the management and organization of the educational process of primary school will significantly increase its efficiency, make the educational process more flexible and universal.

In the theory and practice of teaching primary school students great deal of attention is paid to the issue of training effectiveness and, in particular, to the issue of cognitive activity’s activation in students. The relevance of this topic can be explained by the fact that introduction of the Federal State Educational Standards of primary general education requires the teacher to know the new forms and methods of educational process organization, which could be feasible and effective in the modern conditions and interesting for children. In this article the author offers an efficient way of application of art-figurative means during the lessons in primary school. Art is the incentive of cognitive activity activation in children. Emotions give personal sense to received knowledge. The author considers the following forms of work with students: modeling of lessons, development of the technological card of a lesson, business game, and master classes. Students master methodical receptions: “transformation” into natural object, ordering of artistic images, and transformation of one art sample into another. The lessons developed by students were approved in practice at elementary school. Teachers noted positive influence of art means on activation of cognitive activity of elementary school pupils.
