Educational process has a great impact on the motivation of the learners, and these incentives (motives) are under the control of the teacher who directs the educational process. Accordingly, this action research is carried out to examine the effectiveness of certain teaching/ learning strategies and techniques applied for grade nine students chosen from Fatima Al-Zahra Preparatory School- Qatar to raise their motivation for learning English language. The findings show that external motivations (extrinsic) are among the most important factors in the success of learning English language, which are compensatory factors in the absence of the spontaneous desire to learn that language. The selected students have undergone varieties of active learning strategies, resources and tensive use of modern technology. The methods that are implemented in this study, include the designed questionnaire and the official exams sheets conducted on the targeted students. However, both qualitative and quantitative approaches are used to analyze the data. The present study shows that the students are academically weak in English language, not well motivated to learn English, the learning strategies, resources, and techniques utilized in the classroom proved to be effective to motivate the students and are reflected on the academic performance of the students. Therefore, the data analysis of the success ratio among the targeted students has shown an increase from 41.5% to 91.5% after the application of new strategies and techniques.

This study aimed at exploring the impact of formative assessment practices on student motivation for learning the English language. As Leahy, Lyon, Thompson, and Wiliam (2005) stated, education needs to change its function from collecting the results of right or wrong, and to encourage teachers in gathering information that will affect the educational decisions. This study is a non-experimental, correlational study, to describe the relationship between formative assessment practices and motivation for leaning. The instrument used was a questionnaire on high school students from public and private schools, who were selected randomly by stratified sampling. They belonged to three major high schools of Durres, Albania. The findings of this study showed that factors like strategic questions used by the teacher during formative assessment, student’s portfolio, self-assessment, and peer assessment affected positively the motivation for learning the English language. The results of the regression equation revealed that from four independent variables, the factor that had the greatest impact on motivation for learning were strategic questions used by the teacher during formative assessment, followed by self-assessment, peer assessment and student’s portfolio. This study identified ways of intervention to promote motivation for learning the English language. The study will contribute in the Albanian context showing how assessment practices made an impact on student motivation. It will help educational institutions and policy makers, foreign language teachers in improving the assessment practices to promote student motivation in learning the English language.

In order to explore the factors affecting the employability of finance and trade graduates in higher vocational colleges, the researchers focused on human development in educational settings and conducted a piece of quantitative research within nine higher vocational colleges. The study uses descriptive statistical analysis to demonstrate the sample structure, using t-test, rank sum test, and chi-square test to assess the variables. It also adopts exploratory factor analysis to identify the classification of both educational practice and employability. Then, a multivariable linear regression model was adopted to examine the relationships between three main factors as well as the employability and career development of finance and trade graduates. The findings imply that the soft skills and basic skills of finance and trade college graduates have immensely improved through educational practice; graduates with high motivation for learning could enhance their soft skills and more internships or club engagement brings stronger professional skills. Based on these results, higher vocational colleges, enterprises, policymakers, teachers, and finance and trade graduates will benefit from the findings related to the reform of educational practice for strengthening graduate employability and human development. The originality of this paper is the conceptual evolution of finance and trade college graduate employability, as well as the empirical analysis on educational practice, student engagement, and family background affecting their human development.

The key to inspiring pupils to study and communicate in English is to provide engaging educational media and effective learning methods. One of the most intriguing is the use of cinema media as a teaching medium. The film tells an intriguing story in the style of graphic animation and includes auditory sound to captivate students who want to learn English. Furthermore, effective learning strategies can help students understand what they are being taught. One of the learning approaches that can be utilized to urge students to communicate in English is to use dubbing and subtitling. Dubbing is a technique for imitating the voices of actors in films who perform certain parts. Because they appear to be acting out film dialogue scenes depicted by actors, this helps increase pupils' interest in conversing in English. The method of showing film dialogue at the bottom of the screen is known as subtitles. In other words, as a tool for students to absorb the material supplied, teaching media and learning methods are linked and mutually beneficial. Students can be helped to engage in language learning while also being motivated to speak in English using effective and efficient media and approaches.

In the modern world, more and more attention is paid to the sports development of the child. Sport not only develops a child’s physical abilities, but also his moral and strong-willed qualities that will help overcome life difficulties in the future. Therefore, it is necessary to form motivation for learning and sports activities in children from an early age. The purpose of the article is to identify pedagogical conditions for the formation of sports motivation in children. The research methodology is an activity approach that sets the benchmark for the inclusion of a child in a variety of areas of emotionally saturated socially recognized and socially approved activities. A teacher is an authority for pupils in the case when he is as passionate about his subject as possible and has the deepest knowledge and is demanding to do his job. Observing the work of coaches shows that they do not always pay due attention to the motivation of students. When a child learns successfully, he is praised by both the coach and parents, he is set as an example to other children. Moreover, in a group where the coach’s opinion is not just decisive, but the only authoritative opinion that everyone takes into account, these aspects come to the fore.
