Abstract Total resmethrin ((5-benzyl-3-furyl)methyl cis, trans-(±)-2,2-dimethyl-3-(2-methylpropenyl)cyclopropanecarboxylate) in formulations and cis-trans ratios were determined by high-pressure liquid chromatography on a column of octadecylsilane on Zipax with methanol-water liquid phase. Pentachlorobenzene was the internal standard. The cis-trans ratio can be determined directly without hydrolysis to chrysanthemumic acid as in some other methods.
