Ni–P/C NPs were prepared through a two-step liquid phase reduction method, which exhibited a significant enhancement for the electro-catalytic activity towards the carbohydrazide oxidation reaction compared with Ni/C NPs.

Absorbing property of Fe20Ni80 nanopowder was better than that of other Fe100−xNix powder fabricated by liquid phase reduction method. Absorbing band could be effectively broadened and absorbing property improved through optimal structural designs.

It has many advantages with liquid phase reduction method to prepare the nano-silver, such as experimental conditions are simple, low cost, energy-saving, etc.. At the same time, the nano silver powder prepared by this method has high surface activity, catalytic property and wide usage. In this paper, nano-silver powder was prepared by changing the amount of protective agents with chemical liquid phase reduction method. This paper focuses on the impact of the amount of protective agent on the nano-silver. In addition, we also analyzed the reaction temperature, PH value of solution, viscosity and electrical conductivity on the preparation of nano-silver. Finally, test results from the TEM shows that the nano-silver was prepared with smaller size, uniform size and good dispersion.

In this paper the different proportional Pt/Ag on XC-72 carbon are studied to serve as the electro-catalysts of H2O2in acid media. All catalysts are prepared by impregnation reduction method and characterized by XRD and TEM. The electrochemical performance tests are examined by cyclic voltammetry (CV) at 25°C and 30°C, respectively. The results suggest that the peak current density increases with increasing the Ag content in Pt-Ag/C. Attributed to the temperature factor, the electro-catalytic activity of all catalysts at 30°C is better than that of 25°C.
