The article gives an example of controlling the stress state parameters of additively manufactured products. The study was carried out on the basis of a developed non-classical mechanical model of the process of layer-by-layer formation of a coating of arbitrary thickness on a cylindrical substrate. The model is based on modern concepts of the mechanics of continuously growing bodies and allows one to obtain fairly simple analytical dependencies. On the basis of the latter, the problem of technological control of the evolution of contact pressure at the substrate – coating interface is solved in the article. A number of practically significant conclusions have been made.

Mathematical relation between roughness of the surface layer of the sintered article and layer-by-layer laser sintering modes obtained from experiments conducted using copper powder material PMS-1. Authors suggest that split manufacturing process of an article and its inner part must be split to roughing, semi-finishing and finishing modes.

The paper presents the main characteristics and functionality of a hybrid 3D-printer created at the Institute of Automation and Electrometry SB RAS, containing a portal recording system with dispenser heads for digital inkjet printing and a laser scanning system for subsequent post-processing with precise alignment software. The formation zone is located on a mobile platform moving along the Z coordinate. This design makes it possible, by layer-by-layer additive synthesis, to form three-dimensional structures with given local conductivity.

ABSTRACTMultilayered foils with 10%Cu/90%Ni and different bi-layer thickness (100-1000 nm) have been fabricated by electrodeposition. TEM and x-ray diffraction analysis indicate discrete layer formation and a (100) textured structure. The maximum tensile strength (590 MPa) is obtained for foils with the smallest layer thickness. Preliminary results on high temperature deformation show a strong dependence of strength and plasticity on layer thickness.
