Based on the MODIS10A2 snow product data from 2001 to 2019, the characteristics of annual variation, interannual variation and spatial distribution of snow cover in China Pakistan Economic Corridor from 2001 to 2019 are analyzed by using remote sensing technology. The result shows that: the snow-cover in a year generally starts from the middle of October, and the snow cover area reaches the maximum value in January of the next year, and reaches the minimum value in July. From 2001 to 2019, the snow area of China-Pakistan Economic Corridor generally showed a decreasing trend. The distribution of snow in the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor is extremely uneven. The northern area is obviously more than that in the south. The mountainous and plateau areas are with high frequency of snow cover, and the plains are areas with low frequency of snow-cover. Permanent snow-cover is relatively low. Few, mainly concentrated in the Karakoram Mountains, in terms of distribution range, mainly distributed in 4452-8378 m.

The dynamic nature and unsustainable exploitation of groundwater aquifers pose a range of management challenges. The accurate basin-wide hydrological assessment is very critical for the quantification of abstraction rates, spatial patterns of groundwater usage, recharge and discharge processes, and identification of critical areas having groundwater mining. This study provides the appraisal of remote sensing technology in comparison with traditionally prevailing tools and methodologies and introduces the practical use of remote sensing technology to bridge the data gaps. It demonstrates the example of Gravity Recovery and Climate Experiment (GRACE) satellite inferred Total Water Storage (TWS) information to quantify the behavior of the Upper Indus Plain Aquifer. The spatio-temporal changes in aquifer usage are investigated particularly for irrigation and anthropogenic purposes in general. The GRACE satellite is effective in capturing the water balance components. The basin-wide monthly scale groundwater storage monitoring is a big opportunity for groundwater managers and policymakers. The remote sensing integrated algorithms are useful tools to provide timely and valuable information on aquifer behavior. Such tools are potentially helpful to support the implementation of groundwater management strategies, especially in the developing world where data scarcity is a major challenge. Groundwater resources have not grown to meet the growing demands of the population, consequently, overexploitation of groundwater resources has occurred in these decades, leading to groundwater decline. However, future developments in the field of space technology are envisioned to overcome the currently faced spatio-temporal challenges.

Submarine pipelines must be designed to resist wave and current induced hydrodynamic forces especially in and near the surf zone. They are buried as protection against forces in the surf zone, however this procedure is not always feasible particularly on a movable sea bed. For this reason the characteristics of the sediment transport on the construction site of beaches should be investigated. In this investigation, the application of the remote sensing method is introduced in order to determine and observe the coastal morphology, so that submarine pipelines may be protected against undesirable seabed movement.

With remote sensing technology and computer technology, remote sensing classification technology has been rapid progress. In the traditional classification of remote sensing technology, based on the combination of today's technology in the field of remote sensing image classification, some new developments and applications for land cover classification techniques to make more comprehensive elaboration. Using the minimum distance classifier extracts of the study area land use types. Ultimately extracted land use study area distribution image and make its analysis and evaluation.
